Total unadulterated greed. Easy loot on the gullible casuals, although tbf even a lot of the casuals saw through this one with the stadium not a sell out.

These guys are filled with greed honestly, money takes priority over pride and legacy. If Joshua offered Haye a fight for a few million tomorrow you can bet your arse that Haye would take the fight.

The worrying thing for me was CEJ suggesting a trilogy at the end, and of course a new deal would mean new weight rules on the fight. Eubank fully fit entering the ring at 175+ would have been a different proposition (maybe).

Zero chance Hearn risks that happening, as far as they’re concerned it’s a moral 2-0 and move on.

I don’t care I said from the announcement of the first fight it is a stupid ‘freak show’ fight that doesn’t make sense and far from a high level fight. I didn’t watch either. Watched bits of the first and looked like Benn won from what I saw so that’s how little I knew.

I’m just not having this sympathy and all that as if he’s some warrior chasing his dreams or is skint and is going to lose his house. He’d be needing to get a job now if it wasn’t for his surname.

I’ve been consistent with him from his days on Boxnation, gassing agaisnt Latvian journey men.

    CON MAN.

Greed maybe not the correct word but pure financial motivation over pride and respect for the fans, knowing you are shot to **** but still conning them into thinking you have it.

A good example is Barker going in there against Sturm knowing his hip was goosed. Went in there for the money despite the fact that tons of his fans spent a fortune travelling to watch him.

I suppose it’s easy to criticise and we’d probably all take the money but that’s why we should call it for what it is.

Without the beard but with the ’tache, Bellew is starting to look and sound more and more like Blakey from On the Buses.

You will be giving them ideas - Chisora v Haye 2 for redemption in his 'last fight'

Boxing fans have had a good poking for years with PPVs for bang average boxers and fights yet some still come back for another mugging.

Even Joey 12 lines has had a few huge bags of PPV Loot and Chisora cannot get any more food on the table these days.

Point still stands. He earned millions and we saw a crap fight. Wasn't the first time and it most certainly won't be the last time.

Didn't see the first fight either.

Can't see it as a 3rd fight wouldn't fill the Circus Tavern let alone a football stadium lol.

It wasnt even a contest tonight, just Benn hitting Eubank when he could.

No tactical masterclass, Eubank was shot when he fought in Saudi but no one said anything.

I dont usually watch DAZN but paid for it tonight, and that was shocking, the commentary was just horrendous, as bad as Eubank was, he threw the best punch in the 2nd (or 3rd maybe) and not mentioned at all, just continuous waffling about Benns masterclass.

Money driven for sure but it's his livelihood so can you really blame him?

Maybe but can you do? Supply and demand and all that jazz.

Was the outcome they were hoping for in the first fight with this clause.

Eubank took extra money so can't feel sorry for him.

Will never win a world title, but will be rich

I heard Eubank lost large sums of money playing poker - he referred to sorting out problems outside the ring after the fight.

Pretty clear to see Eubank junior is absolutely done at the weight. Never really been the same since he went up to 168. Was fighting at 168 back in 2017. I know he could have made 160 back then....but going up to 168 for a couple of years then trying to go back to 160 with age against him pretty much finished him off.

He was a corpse in the first fight just gritted it out with the size advantage. The first fight shouldnt have happened really but in fairness it ended up a great event. Both fighters stock rose. Tremendous nostalgia. But it should have definetely ended there. Eubank had nothing tonight. Just living off size and experience to keep him in there.

In fairness to benn tho i think he could have hurt eubank but ended up holding back.

It was a tremendous match up in terms of their past etc but just slightly too far out of weights and age to be a fair fight. Was giving up too much size versus being cooked at the weight more than eubank v benn both fights.
