    It was a strange night

the crowd with drug cheat Benn

dazn commentary making out like we’re watching a boxing masterclass from Benn when in reality Eubank wanted to be anywhere but in that ring.

Eubank basically gave Benn a victory over him for 10m - it was a cash out.

Benn will get a lot of praise but in reality he is a drug cheat , and Eubank had nothing in the tank , let’s not forget matchroom tried to make this fight at 157 years ago was very dangerous.

Boils down to narcissism and a complete inability to take responsibility or accountability. In Benn's defense, he was sent off to an extremist religious school by his dad, which would have definitely caused mental issues and trauma that he obviously hasn't addressed.

Combine that with the fact that Benn has grown up in a world where he has had to want for nothing, the idea that he would have to look inward and take responsibility is often a leap too far for those born into wealth. Eubank Jr is exactly the same in this regard, it's just that Benn is far more dislikeable, so it takes the heat off Eubank to some extent.

    Yes me too.

When you look back at the card tonight it was a disgrace of a PPV, only Catterall v Essuman really delivered.

Main event a glorified spar until the final round, Eubank visibly shot to pieces.

Riakhpohre v Welch a mismatch. Scoby barely throwing a punch against Azim. Very poor and devalues the first Eubank v Benn fight which should have been left to stand alone.

I haven't watched the fight. It was never PPV-worthy, despite the fact the first fight was a good fight. That doesn't make a rematch PPV-worthy. They're not even world-level fighters.

I was wondering what exactly did the BBBoC do concerning Eubank's weight? After he posted videos of himself sweat-suited up and struggling to make weight the first fight, the BBBoC expressed 'concern'. Then apparently he went straight to hospital after the first fight for dehydration. Was the rematch made with exactly same conditions?

Eubank wont be the first to phone it in for the paycheck and he wont be the last but that was very sad to watch. He has helped rehabilitate a drug cheat

Would be funny if Benn fails another drug test

    a MUCH Better Fight,

too me it looked like Eubank thought & waited for Benn to turn up the onslaught, burn himself out and then he, Eubank, would turn on the Boxing the last 4 rounds or something...

Anyway, Benn kept it together and fought a very busy active CONTROLLLED Fight which of course paid off immensely for him.

    Good one.

Not only that, he has put Eddie Hearn, who he claims to hate, back on centre-stage.

He was fighting against a weight drained old man with questionable motive the first time as well and look what happened.

Funny how all these excuses are being used now. Weight drained, old, shot etc . But people are forgetting eubank won the first fight under exactly the same circumstances. In that fight Connor looked quicker and fresher but couldn't hurt eubank and ultimately eubank was too big and strong and pushed connor back, leaned on him and out muscled him.

I know no one wants to give benn his credit because people dont like him and hearn but putting feelings to one side he fought the same guy who had just beat him and looked too big for him. Eubank was the favourite and rematches usually go the same way. Benn should be getting credit for the way he has grown into the weight category and negated those advantages eubank in the first fight.

Yes Eubank did look shot but isn't hindsight a wonderfull thing, fact is Connor was not only the quicker fighter this time he was also physically equal which is what won him the fight.

Personally I say well done benn, you avenged a loss which isn't an easy thing to do let's see what you can achieve or not in the sport now.

What was Eubank referring to with the going through hell for two months to get to the fight? He also said he needs to go away and address that before thinking about his next move, so doesn’t sound like the weight.

Sounded like something personal or could it be an injury?

The reason they are fighting each other is that both are turd and will always be turd.

The British Public have been poked many times over the years with non elite bang average fighters on Box Office such as Benn, Eubank Jnr., Whyte, Parker, Joshua and Bellew.

Eubank has always been a Charlatan in the ring only interested in PPV Loot and Benn beat a completely dehydrated man from bell 1.

The biggest achievement for these two is 2 huge bags of PPV Loot and the mug paying public walking like Ducks again today.
