Nate Tubbs was over 250lb and had a nearly 80% ko record. Nobody is claiming that he is any great boxer but the man could hit like a truck. Sanders got caught, it happens.

Tubbs only had 18 wins and he does not hit like a truck he only stopped 1 fighter with a winning record which happened to be Sanders.

Who's the best opponent Tubbs stopped outside of Sanders ? 16-21 Mike Dixon ?

I'd love to know this evidence of Tubbs's apparent frightening power.

You know who did hit like a truck though ? Joe Frazier.

I have a ton of respect for Sanders, especially since I feel his true potential was never reached. If he had been more dedicated to being in shape and improving his stamina, he would have been much more of a major player on the heavyweight scene at the time.

However, when I picture them fighting I see Frazier grinding him down and stopping Sanders via tko.

Yeah like when 213lbs David haye starched 247lbs Derek Chisora in 4 rounds which is something fighters like vitali klitschko was unable to do. Anyone over 200lbs can KO anybody.

Sanders despite being southie fought squared up a lot of the time and had little to no defence.
    The chin wasn't great either.
The result here is a no brainer.

You tried to make out Nate Tubbs was a monster puncher to make excuses for Sanders KO loss.

When in reality Tubbs was an unremarkable opponent who didn't stop a single opponent with a winning record outside of Sanders himself.

So yes I did prove you wrong.

That is no proof of anything other than the fact that Tubbs' opposition leaves much to be desired. It can simultaneously be true that he hit bloody hard and fought a soft roster of opponents. Your use of logic is flawed.

Corrie's window is the first 4 rounds. It's possible he could stop Frazier. He had that type of quick, sneaking punching that a lot guys don't see coming. But it's an odds game. And the odds I would bet are on Frazier taking over mid-round and bringing affairs to an ending around 10.

Ali stopped Frazier, Foreman. Liston, Lyle and shall I go on?

The only evidence of Tubbs's power against a notable opponent was Sanders which says alot more about Sanders's weaknesses than anything.

You proclaiming Tubbs as a monster puncher when he beat 1 opponent with a winning record is a flawed logic.

As I said where's the evidence that Tubbs hits "bloody hard" other than stopping Sanders ?

Which alludes more to Sanders's weaknesses rather than you proclaiming Nate Tubbs as George Foreman 2.0.
