I’m born and raised in Arkansas, JT was a huge part of what made me a boxing fan, I love the dude. Paul would have won, JT’s biggest issue was he burned so much nervous energy because he was always wound tight, I think Paul’s activity would cause him to gas and Paul would eventually grind him down. That said Paul ain’t eating the shot he hit Froch or Pavlik with, so I give JT a strong shot before 7th, after 7th it gets tough.

Middleweight is too much for Williams, Taylor takes him on points.

Taylor struggled against Wright and Spinks. I think Paul's style and output would be too much for Taylor. Williams UD

Why was Taylor ‘not’ entering a contest against Williams?

    Was Taylor that great?

I feel like Taylor could win controlling with his strong jab and better fundamentals. But would not count Williams out. His out put was great, but that leaves you open to a lot. Taylor being the naturally larger man doesn't hurt either.

Paul Williams would dominate him all the way on the inside and all the way on the outside. Taylor's only chance would be trying to land something heavy at mid range, and Taylor is gonna fall apart after 6-7 rounds and slow down significantly.

    Dominate seems hyperbolic.

He'd drown him in activity. Taylor would not be able to keep up. Kelly Pavlik did it to him. Kassim Ouma did as well (although he still lost). Activity flusters him very badly, and Paul was a 1000 punch guy.

Oh for sure, I picked Paul to win, but he isn’t just gonna dominate, IMHO.

Ok I gotcha, "dominate" may be a little strong
