I dont think he would beat wardley and who wants to see usyk 3

Really hope thats not the plan

I can see why Fury vs Joshua will happen, 2 shot fighters going for a payday and a bit of nostalgia but neither of them should be anywhere near a title fight .

Wardley vs Itauma potentially in 2026 for the WBO title?

I disagree, Wardley beat Parker for the right to fight for the WBO title and so imo he deserves the belt,Usyk clearly was never going to give Parker the shot anyway. It certainly will be salt in Parker’s wounds but he only has himself to blame. As already mentioned it also frees the Division up a touch,my fear now is that Usyk hangs around too long and at some point takes a loss. Fury as shot as he is still probably has enough to outsmart Wardley to victory, but Joshua v Wardley I would certainly like to see that fight and how it plays out .

Eh, it wasn't really via e-mail. The whole point of the interim title is that if the title holder vacates, the last fight for the interim title is retroactively elevated to a title fight and the winner (assuming they haven't vacated) is elevated. So, Parker and Wardley did fight for the title.

The play is to entice Fury to take the AJ fight after he brutally KOs Paul. What's Fury been saying the past year about that fight, "there's no point in it anymore." The commercial value may be back after AJ/Paul.

I really wanted to see that fight, but let's see what the B-sample says. If Parker has a coke problem, he really want fit to be champ anyway. And coke can be used as a PED, so...

Nothing sadder than an email champ. Imagine the "fulfilment" of your life long dream comes via email due to politics when everyone considers there to be a much better fighter still active.

Parker was probably more interested in fighting Usyk than winning the WBO belt. Two-time WBO champion likely less appealing than a chance to be the actual heavyweight champion - and the fame and fortune that comes with it.

    Next up, Kabayel?

I really crossed my fingers for Parker but if he was just going to get himself busted for coke anyway, he really has only himself to blame as his latest downfall was inevitable. Good luck to him, but he is best left forgotten until he can sort his life out.

The Wardley that only narrowley beat JP and Huni? I still have Fury a notch or 2 above those fighters so I'd favour him against Wardley. The only thing Wardley has going for him is how often Fury has begun switching off within fights as he ages. Parker is definitely more durable than Fury, so Wardley would have a shot there.

I don't see how anyone has an appetite for Usyk Fury 3 but I'm sure it would do crazy $$. Fury didn't dominate the second bout for any extended period, Usyk cruised.

Of all the ways to beat Usyk...this was the most efficient.
