Yea if he was active around 5ish. Usyk is obviously the champion, then you got Wardley, Kabayel, Parker, dubois......after that it's a little nebulous. I'l say if you want him at 10...., it shouldn't matter when it comes to blasting out Jake Paul

if jake legit wins this fight, the sport of boxing that i grew up with, is dead. i dont care how shot aj might have become, he should not have deteriorated enough to lose to this guy. ive said this is the weakest hw era i can remember in 50 years, but if aj gets beat by paul, after fury got beat by an 0-0 debutant, then i was kind in my assessment..

Tyson losing was bad enough. :ohno

Having a legitimate defeat to a YouTuber on his official record is 10x the black eye of McBride and Williams combined. Even with the circumstances being what they were. I really wish he just hadn't done it, and stuck to exhibitions.

Exactly this it's a cash out and he can claim that he is the bravest man in history but it's total BS coz any top 100 heavyweight would flat line him anyway. He will take a couple years off after this and probably goes back to trying to fight the likes of Conor McGregor.

Paul has pushed this horse**** as far as it can go. He knows a fight against a 46-year-old ex-MMA champion or journeyman doesn't sell anymore, any active cruiser in the top 50 beats him easily, any of them in the top 25 knock him out, and the top 10 would be able to take him out in a couple of horrible rounds. It's time to cash in the chips.

Someone like Viddal Riley would destroy Paul, but why get a few million for this fight when you can fleece the world and fight Joshua for 10x that amount instead? McGregor vs. Mayweather was "licensed," but it obviously included a contract clause that ensured Floyd would go in 2nd gear. Tyson vs Paul was licensed, despite the fact he is a near-60-year-old man who can barely walk. The fact that Paul didn't KO him shows how much of a "pro bout" that was.

So expect more of the same bull**** from Paul here, a few rounds, an exhibition, a glorified spar, a body shot KO, and the pair of them laughing their head off to the bank. Paul claims a victory by doing a few rounds with the ex-HW champion, and Joshua barely loses face because it's another KO on the record —win-win—another ridiculous day in a sport that constantly takes 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

Jake Paul is a helluva promoter. He can do his little final cashout fights that end in a dubious 1st or 2nd round KO, then become one of the biggest promoters in the sport.

Paul might feel secure in the build up because AJ will most likely be friendly and Paul might think ok he might go easy on me where Tank is a nasty little man who doesn't know how to play nice and might've had a dork like Jake Paul shook.

Its really not this hard to understand fellas. Money. Jake Paul is the type of guy that will get flatlined by Anthony Joshua, stiff as a board, and somehow make a laugh and joke about it after it whilst sitting there with his $100,000,000 paycheque. Then guess what, he will go and fight Canelo and happily get shadow realmed again for another $100,000,000. 0-3 against official boxers but his claim will be "no ones ever done and made the money ive made in just 14 fights"

He also seems like the kinda guy thats learnt how to punch, knocked a few fellas out and now delusionally believes hes got some touch of death right hand. Hes seen Dubois make mince meat of AJ and probably thinks, "If i can just survive and land that one shot..." Reality is hes going to get viciously smelted after 1 or 2 clean shots from a 250lb steam train.

I think Gervonta Davis would have done exactly what Floyd did to Conor Mcgregor walked him down and gassed him out without budging off any shot Jake Paul threw... thats 135lb Gervonta Davis... Anthony Joshua is going to absolutely flatline him cold. There no 1% 2% 3% bulls**t, oh Jake can catch him with a wonder shot. Nope. Its over the minute AJ wants it to be over.

This is the perfect publicity stunt for AJ to double his and Tysons purse for a summer showdown. A highlight reel demolition job in a fight thats going to have so many eyeballs on it will be enough to regain the casuals attention in a AJ vs Fury fight. AJ flatlining Ngannou was enough to make some people start thinking he could do Usyk for crying out loud.

I dont think Jake Paul understands the severity of what can actually happen in a boxing ring, especially in a size and skill mismatch like this. He seems so dumb when it comes to boxing in general. You think anyone in his team gives a crap about it, all they see is their %. Dont be shocked if AJ gives him a good slap in the face off if he tries any of his disrespectful little games he plays.

This will be a legit bout, as much as i believe some of them have been a bit questionable with certain stipulations, Eddie cares about his reputation just as much as he cares about a pound note. We are gonna see a live execution. Im here for it. Feed me.

Any version we've seen of AJ should outbox and KO Jake Paul with ease.

    But!

We haven't seen the version since Dubois put a serious beating on him.

After seeing Eubank V Benn II, where a much smaller man used his motivation and quicker movement to win. Mmmm

If AJ is a tentative shadow of himself, and looks gunshy and lost in there, and Jake is fast and determined. Who knows.

We should know in the first couple of rounds.

Netflix puts money in the sport but shitty matchups.

Maybe boxing fans should watch a documentary on boxing on netflix at the time the fight is running. To show them what we actually want to see

I've read the script, Paul wins by UD, Paul gets knocked down once. They hug and celebrate each other in the end. In post fight interview Usyk faces off with Paul, Fury faces off with AJ. Everybody becomes richer.

I have serious doubts this fight happens.

I think it is a fake fight announcement, and Jake Paul has another opponent lined up. This AJ fight announcement is to generate interest in him, and sell tickets for the "event" which otherwise would not have been sold.

I am calling it here. This fight does not happen.

Jake Paul fights someone else completely different.
