I dont mind this fight IF its a real fight, i cant think of anything more entertaining that watchin jake paul get spalttered. Just see it as entertainment not boxing, tbh id rather watch paul on his ass than see AJ vs a different can.

 

I'm already tired of listening to all the boxing promoters condemning the fight.

If they had the opportunity to organize this event themselves and get a share of the money, it would have been the biggest event in the world

Don't see why the hate for AJ for this fight.
He isnt a champion anymore, he isnt shouting for a title fight. He's not fought for 15 months. Its 4 weeks notice. Its easy money and its a career biggest pay day or atleast up there for him. We would all jump at the chance for the money he is being paid and I dare say Fury and Usyk would be tempted for the pay cheque too.

 

There’s definitely a business model and a gap in the market for it, mate, and a chance at redemption for a few. But as we’ve seen, the gobbiest ones always disappear when it’s time to back it up. Big John vanished quicker than Woodhouse’s troll when Theo threatened to roll up. And even on this board the big Cheltenham “straightener” from yesteryear never happened.

Maybe give @TERRYTIBBS a shot at redemption. Stick him in with Sam Jones, and add a bonus for every imaginary shot that manages to shift the Botox in Jones’s expressionless, emotionless face.

It just has to be fixed. JP has been fighting old and/or tiny people with no experience in boxing his whole "career " What does that tell you? He knows his limits, suddenly he's going to step into the ring with two a time heavyweight and Olympic champion who's on the slide, but still very much a top 10 fighter? If I were a betting man I'd say they've agreed for AJ to carry Paul for the full 8 rounds, but AJ wins on points. Either that or a phantom punch in the 5th round and JP takes a knee.

Shame this isn’t on DAZN, because it would’ve been fitting to have Smith on commentary and Bellew doing the pre- and post-fight punditry for this circus. The laughs alone would’ve been worth it.

Even they’d struggle to spin this farce with a straight face, especially if it somehow goes past 30 seconds.
