Good fight next week on Yarde undercard, Noakes probably been in a little deeper but Mason looks heavy handed so far against lower level fighters. WBO world lightweight on the line, who wins it?

Don’t sleep on Noakes, he’s had a great camp and is going in full of confidence. I expect to see him start to take over from the middle rounds.

I will be cheering Noakes on, but he’s really up against it. I can’t see anything other than him stopping Noakes in the second half if the fight.

The difference in speed, coupled with the southpaw stance will be a nightmare for Sam unfortunately.

    Shakur Stevenson on sparring Noakes

"Truthfully, I ain’t gonna lie, he’s probably one of the strongest fighters that I've been in the ring with at 135lbs. He’s got a lot of power, he’s real tough too. Good fighter.”

Would love nothing more than to see Midge get a hand on a world title. Everyone here in Maidstone would be so proud of him. I've not seen much of Mason though, I've been hearing a lot of people say that he might just be the future of US boxing. Sounds like Sam will have to bring his A-game.

Because he was dropped twice by a nobody. Definitely big question marks over his chin and defence.

Noakes didn’t look out of place at World level and gave a hell of a performance. Midge will definitely come back stronger.

Great effort by Noakes. Get him back out March time against a fringe world level opponent.

It was definitely the fight of the night on a PPV card that was a bit disappointing.

Nokes proved last night that he can win a World Title.

Always love to see a guy go in as underdog and do well even though it ended in defeat.
