    Benavide
Benavidez has a better hook than Kovalev has and is relentless, Yarde is too easy to hit, Benavidez will block most of Yarde's punches with his high guard.

I am surprised that the bookies have Yarde at 7 to 1 I might have to take a punt at those odds.

I know which is why I am officially picking Benavidez to win but Yarde is a good fighter and he can crack.

Yeah... very few beat Beterbiev or Kovalev. Those losses are forgivable. Benavidez wouldn't get past either of them as well. Arthur he was merely gun-shy after the Kovalev match, and didn't want to gas out. Had he of started a round or two earlier, it would've been a draw or UD in his favor.

Yeah that's crazy odds, sometimes the bookies DKSAB. I'd say Yarde should be 2/1

Yeah I would have him at least at 3 to 1 but probably 4 to 1

Kovalev was a fading force by then and went on to look awful vs Canelo, Benavidez will put more pressure on than Kovalev did and will throw more counters.

David can definitely brawl but you are correct he is far from the basic brawler most think he is. Very technical and skilled, who can basically do it all in the ring, which is why he is good. I don't expect him to brawl recklessly with yarde , not until he clearly has the upper hand at least. I expect him to methodically break him down behind his jab and lead right hand, which is like a laser, and then punish him later and stop him. David most definitely has the power to break him down and stop him with volume.

I'm still not convinced about his gas tank at 175. Even his last few fights at 168 he was not showing the same volume he did earlier in his career. He was blowing pretty hard vs Morrell by round 6 also, which is why he has struggled to stop the last 2 opponents because he can't put it on late like he used to.

Why do people act like Gvozdyk is some easy guy to crack when his only loss and stoppage was to Beterbiev, and that was only after getting clubbed to the back of the head a number of times? He was stopped in his knees and stood right up. Saying he couldn't even crack Gvozdyk like it means he can't punch is laughable.

Of course he went on to look awful against Canelo, because that's exactly how Canelo and his team orchestrated it. Kovalev had two months to both recover and train, he was weight drained, and had to deal with an added rehydration clause on top of that. He knew he'd gas out if he threw with evil intentions and blew his wad, he'd get KTFO even earlier. Which is why he pulled his punches, yet even looking awful as you said, Kovalev was still schooling Canelo with relative ease before gassing out late, and the inevitable happened. Try thinking for yourself once in awhile instead of parroting the thoughts and opinions of others. I noticed you made no mention of how well he did against Beterbiev.

In hindsight what Canelo did to Kovalev was criminal. He just had a draining fight with Yarde so they make him a financial offer that no man in Kovalev's position would refuse. It was the perfect ruse to fool the casual fan that doesn't know the ins and outs of boxing. It's like the guy at the boxing gym who gets into spar with a bloke who has already done 4 rounds then goes as hard as he can and has his mate video it on his phone
