Alakel is good but he's clearly levels above Li, but is reticent to really let his hands go and get the stoppage,VERY cautious, and whilst being defensively responsible is great and all, I think he has been way too cautious tonight.

Still a decent showing though

 

I am not talking about stepping up to world class or even close to it. But to somewhere that is above his current level of opposition. At least fight someone with more experience and double digit wins. Maybe someone like Viktor Slavinskyi.

 

I recall some prior opponents not even trying. This guy tried, but was just outclassed.

As to Alakel's matches, eh, just accept it. He's going to be on the prelims of every Saudi card. He's putting in the work, he's improving consistently, he's a well spoken respectful guy in interviews. I can't hate.

How good is Alakel supposed to be? Can't really tell with all these bums he's been put in there with, but the fact he's the only local on every Riyadh show tells me he's the best they have, but what is he actual level?

 

Ah I hear what your saying, I don't think he's even ready for Viktor Slavinskyi. Anyone who presses him is going to have success against him.
