Didn't like that stoppage at all.

Yarde needs to focus in trying to win British/European belts. He is not ever gonna win a big 4 title

Didn't he blow his load the round he hurt Kovalev in?

    I didn't understand Yarde's gameplan TBH.

Why box a cautious fight when he's not a notable 12 round fighter ?

He should've been more assertive early try and shock Benavidez with his power.

I was a bit disappointed in the fight TBH I expected more of a shoot out but a solid performance from Benavidez.

Why not go to Cruiser and challenge the actual man Opetaia?

Nah not that much. I respect him a lot though for the career he has built getting into the sport late. Should have changed trainers years ago but no version of Yarde beats Benavidez. My prediction on the British forum was Benavidez by stoppage first half of the fight:

Fight pretty much played out exactly how I envisaged it.

It's perfectly apt to describe fighters like Benavidez. He hid at 168 fighting much smaller men for years, now he's finally moved up to 175 slowing upping his competition in hoping that he can age Beterbiev and Bivol out. Come on man you've followed this sport for a long time, you should be able to spot stuff like this.

Claudia Trejo's looks like she could be more attractive if she grows her hair out and covers her face. JK. I think she is hot.

Bivol lost rounds to Craig Richards, Benavidez is definitely in with a chance against him, I'd still favour Bivol though.

I'm not high on Zurdo but I'd favor him to win a comfortable UD against Benavidez

Benavidez looked good tonight I think he beats Beterbiev but bivol is a different animal

Going up to CW 2 May? No tune up at that weight first? Not sure if that's smart.
