I don't get the Zurdo fight. Is he just looking for belts in multiple division?

Ducking becoming the Lineal Champ at 175, against the guy who embarrassed the fighter he's moving up to fight. It's a ****ing Duck!

I didn't see the Mason fight but all in all I dont think these fights lived up to the hype.

    The Haney fight was boring.

The Benavidez fight never caught fire and Yarde didn't really take any risks.

I like Benavidez but he's still without an A level win and I'm kinda disappointed he's skipping the big names at Light Heavyweight.

Honestly bro I think it's Zurdo ducking Opetaia. I swear ODLH said they needed a warm up fight for Zurdo before he'd face Jai. Weak ass ****.

Ok you mean Zurdo is ducking not Benavidez. Again, Zurdo will make more $$$ against Benavidez than Opataia; the winner should fight Jai for sure.

Well, I enjoyed that, thought it was worth staying up for. Really impressed by Mason, a fan friendly slick fighter. Rodriguez made the sport look stupidly easy tonight and I enjoyed Haney’s performance.

Main event wasn’t competitive and let it down a bit but it was a decent card and not a disappointment IMO.

i agree. bivol is slick enough and disciplined enough to stay just ahead of the volume. but doing it for 12 is where the problem be...

It's called PRIZE fighting not DUCK fighting. Money talks.

I see Benavidez outboxing Zurdo. Zurdo is slow and not the greatest boxer. Zurdo does have a chin and size.

I think they saw Benavidez struggle vs movers before. I thought he would stand a d trade with Benavidez but even though it would have e increased his chances of landing a bomb I think it would've been a suicidal tactic for him to do so. He's too easy to hit and Benavidez has very good variety in his attacks and it's difficult to anticipate them, let alone if you're as easy to hit as Yarde. I think the success Yarde had vs a washed Kovalev and a old past prime Beterbiev was overblown. He has one very good round Vs Kovalev and a few good ones vs Beterbiev but speed is always going to cause an old Beterbiev problems for a few rounds who was never a speedster even in his prime. Beterbiev was better at timing shots when he was younger in his prime and the shot he essentially finished Yarde with was a beautifully timed right hand

If he beats Zurdo in May and we get a unification fight with Opetaia later in 2026 that'd be a very telling fight. Opetaia is a beast.

Bena is not ducking Bivol or Beterbiev. Those two are old and injured so Bena is going down the list.

The reason for this was the Adidas deal he signed in 2018 for 1.5m per year after only 14 fights, he was fighting in leisure centers just before he was thrown in v Kovalev.
