That's ridiculous. I don't GAF if Benavidez wins or loses.

Whatever. Go watch a slasher zombie movie to get into a better mood.

I'm not destroying anything. Read closer, I'm AGAINST Benavidez moving up to fight Zurdo, because I want him to fight Bivol and Beterbiev. Zurdo I could've give a **** about, and that pretty much goes for everyone else, but yeah fine, feed him to Opetaia.

Why is Jai even being mentioned? The guy is the king of the cruisers and could soon be a massive problem at heavyweight. I think he's only interested in going up, considering Zurdo wants absolutely nothing to do with him. Benavidez is brilliant, but he's probably too small to beat a fully fledged cruiser like Jai.

That is partly because no one knows or cares about Dorticos though. A better comparison would be the prize money if Zurdo fought Opetaia. OR Bivol vs Zinad where Bivol only took 750K because no one cares about Zinad.

Yeah it was crazy, he got it in 2018 after fighting NIkola Sjekloca. Crazy at the time, i couldn't believe it, it was Londoner privilege and it was hoped he would be the next big thing.

Eh... Bivol only got 2.5 million for the Zurdo fight. Zurdo isn't a draw.

Benavidez just sees Zurdo as a free lunch to avoid serious challenges

I think its partly that and securing another strap in another weight division. He will eventually have to face Bivol or Opetaia if he wants to stay at the top. If he sits on belts fighting bums then I'll be the first to call bs.

beve doesnt throw the volume. and, if beve can touch you in a 6 foot radius, david covers 10. that limits the safe spaces and taxes concentration. but i suppose BECAUSE beve cracks bones, that might tax your senses a bit. so maybe you have a point.

Based on what I saw, Benavidez has nothing that would worry Bivol - who would reset him all night, assuming he returns to the same form.

Against Beterbiev I think he would get caught with someone big. In the early rounds he was hesitant against Yarde who only has big power with certain punches. Beterbiev throws everything hard, has way more variety and much better footwork. I think he catches Benavidez with a big overhand right (similar to Callum Smith fight) or beats the dog out of him in a very short war if they go toe to toe - all assuming he doesn't age dramatically overnight

Im not sure his chins suspect tbh, he’s not at all afraid of coming forward actually seems like he enjoys taking a few? I’ve always found benavidez a good watch, other than bivol who could out move and outbox him, maybe comfortably, I’m not sure who else gives him trouble?

I also noticed that Yarde has very limited body mechanics.

He can't throw a looping overhand right hand and Benavidez was open for that all night long up close or when he was coming forward.

    Styles make fights
