I don't think that is even true, but every opponent has better foot work than Benavidez anyway, and look what happens. David is a sniper, while Zurdo blocks punches with his face. You work it out.

Granted that Yarde isn't the top guy in the division, but "pathetic" is hyperbole. Cringe inducing hyperbole at that. Yarde looked good. Peak? No. But pretty damn good.

But my calculation isn't entirely based on that The Mexican (American ;)) Monster beat the snot out of a pretty good iteration of Yarde. It's also HOW he did it and how he handled the considerable power of a pretty good Yarde. It's also an eye test comparison between Beterviev's last fight compared to Dave last night. Finally, Beterviev is older, more worn and perpetually injured from training.

I think Benavidez beats him. Now call me names.

Qantas flies direct to Dallas (I've made that trip dozens of times) from Sydney then American Airlines to Bush Airport, Houston then Uber to the gym. You'd be seriously jet lagged so I'd advise a day or two to get used to the time. Good luck to both of you; maybe ProBox will show the bout.

    I don't think so.

Zurdo looked great until he fought Bivol. Against Bivol, he looked like an amateur. What I mean is, Benavidez may look amazing against mediocre opponents, but not when he faces elite boxers like Bivol and Beterbiev.

    Beterbiev is over the hill.

    Time for Benavidez v Bivol.

That version of Yarde was half the version that fought Beterbiev. Yarde was not throwing his right, even though he was getting tagged. Makes no sense unless he is shot.

Opetaia's jaw was broken in the first fight so he was hanging on near the end. Second fight, Opetaia dominated and then gassed. In both fights he dominated most of the first half of the fight or more. As I said, Breidis is elite, so regardless of how he won, they are good wins.

He will destroy Zurdo, which is why this duck, stopping unification, is so blatant.

I agree Zurdo is ducking but Opateia is not some mega killer that people think he is.

If he faced someone like Itauma for instance, I think he would get humbled REAL quick.

Benavidez will do better vs Beterbiev than Yarde did.

It makes sense if you understand boxing more than a casual level. He was hesitating for the same reason Gvozdyk and Morrell were. Scared of what was going to come back at them. David is very good at countering and once he starts to punch you might face an avalanche of them, which is why Yarde was hesitating.

Beterbiev is a beast but he is more straightforward than Benavidez plus does not have his range and hand speed, so it's easier to get off against him.

I enjoyed all four main card fights. They lived up to the predictions, but there was a lot of good boxing. Mason - Noakes was really entertaining, and I hope there's a rematch.
