Ask them? Personally, I think there's a lot to like with these guys. Skilled and often ready take on anyone. Loma was also well spoken until he lost. Can see how he was generally preferred to Haney and Lopez, but to hate on them just because they happened to win (and whatever one thinks of the Haney dec, that's on the judges, not Haney) is just weird.
it reminds me of the movie "mean girls". the mean girls here decide who is worth liking, and the losers who want to get in with the mean girls echo the same garbage. its a very high school dynamic.
Or it's because he's a whining, sniveling turd with a psycho dad and his only two modes of fighting are to run for his life or hug his opponent to death. Dude landed 70 punches against Norman. You heard that right. Seventy punches. At Welterweight. The dude is a chode and more importantly he's a bore in the ring. He also didn't beat Loma, but w/e.
One of the most boring villains of recent memory. Atleast when Floyd was around he was entertaining as the bad guy, Haney tries to replicate how Floyd acted and talked but just comes across as annoying and cringe.
