Joshua already saved the sport by brutally knocking out Ngannou. I hope despite the obvious contractual limitations, he manages to make Paul look like a child.

Paul winning implies any random, above average skilled male with the motivation and good PED regime can learn boxing in 5 years to the level of being best in the world.

With almost unlimited resources and tens of millions, yes.

Jake is a hobbyist that took it to the next level by having the resources to do nothing but purely train boxing with high level sparing partners and coaches, due to almost unlimited resources.

I think that aspect has always been quite interesting of his boxing story.

I don't believe Jake will beat AJ of course.

Both Jake Paul and AJ are getting crucified for planning a boxing match.
People are claiming (in here) that it's disgraceful, will end boxing as we know it, etc.

But is it really any worse than the "exhibition" bout between Mo Ali and Lyle Alzado on Denver 1979. Alzado had a fine amateur record of 44-1 but had zero professional experience. He was a roid rage maniac having rage issues both on and off the field he eventually died at 43 due to the drug effects. He absolutely tried to take Ali's head off; it was a real fight.

Ali didn't get grief for this event, nor did he for the ridiculous bout vs the Japanese kicking wrestler. Of course Ali was beloved by some as some kind of saint whereas Paul is seriously disliked by many in the boxing world.

I was living in Denver at the time and remember it well.

No, at least Jake actually has a few matches under his belt.

That being said, I was a huge fan of Lyle Alzado back in the day, but because of his acting, Ernest Goes to Camp was one of the first films I saw in theaters. Then I saw the very underrated Destroyer on cable a few years later. I hated that he died. He wa quite the character.

I sat next to him at a Benihana restaurant. His shoulders were about 5" wide.

He was seriously f'd up by his upbringing and his drug use.

If AJ comes into this fight with the Fury mentality, possibly, but he needs to keep the AJ one.

    Which way AJ:

After dispatching of Nganou and saving boxings credibility following Fury's gift decision over the same man. If Joshua then goes on to dispatch of Jake Paul in a similarly emphatic way then is he the saviour of boxing and henceforth the gatekeeper for any crossover/youtuber/ misfits guys who think they can play boxing!?

certainly the defender of the sport I guess. He did to Ngannou exactly what former champ SHOULD do to a crossover.
