Yeah, but he’d gladly get his ass kicked by a 37 year old MMA fighter and single-handedly cause the most embarrassing moment in HW history.

Didn't Fury beat a near 40 year old in Wlad, his best win by a mile? Take that win away and Fury's resume is terrible.

Ali had 37 stoppages which is as many professional fights as Fury has had.

Ali had 14 stoppages in world title fights.

So much for your "featherfisted" argument.

Yeah ATG is an exclusive club you're right.

The likes of Ali beat 30+ top 10 ranked fighters and won over 20 World title fights.

Fury in comparison only beat 3 fighters ranked in the top 10 Wilder, Wladimir, Whyte, and won 5 World title fights.

Yeah its a pity fighters in those eras didn't have the luxury of fighting once a year and having trilogies against the likes of Chisora.

You really want to talk about Fury's struggles ?

Should've lost to McDermott the rules were changed in regards to how British title fights were scored it was considered that bad of a decision.

    Almost losing to Wallin.

Dropped 4 times by the limited Wilder.

Almost lost to an MMA fighter.

Got humbled by a former Middleweight aka Usyk as Fury liked to call him beforehand.

Retired to avoid Wladimir rematch and got caught using PEDs.

Lots of people saying Usyk is the only ATG status.

Here is a counter point: To be an ATG you need to beat an ATG, or you need a LONG run at the top. Usyk currently meets neither of those conditions unless you consider Fury to also be an ATG.

Usyk's greatest feat is reunifying after 20 or so years. That is pretty huge; but now, he is fighting a leisurely schedule, pointless rematches, dropping belts, etc. If he wants to crack that top 10 with no doubt about it; at the pace he's going, he will need to fight for like 5 more years.

Joshua does not have a chance and if you bring in Fury as having clinched it with a win over Joshua you are opening the door to a lot of other fighters.

Nah, they both have a chance and the winner will have clinched it. Door is not open to anyone else.

    FURY has wins over...
    Klitchsko
    WilderX2
    Whyte
    ChisoraX3

    JOSHUA has wins over...
    Klitschko
    Povetkin
    Parker
    Whyte
    Ruiz
    Martin
    Pulev

That's all of the title holders and top contenders between Klitschko and Usyk. The winner will have been the true boss of that era. No one else factors in.

What about Dubois who knocked Joshua out and whom he refused to rematch?

Still got a lot of work to do. AJ is clearly slightly past his best. It's a good start, and Hrgovic is a decent win too, but a lot of work to do.

We will have a clearer picture in 2-5 years, there’s only one certified ATG from the last few years and that’s Usyk. The others have work to do if they want to enhance their legacy or get one started.
