Either a rematch with TKV or Joe Joyce in a "loser retires" fight next for Clarke.

    Dave Allen v TKV maybe,

I felt Clarke was coasting after six rounds and even switched to DAZN, but he was still shifting a lot of head shots even early, and was very fortunate that TKV was out of gas himself in the 12th.

The last two rounds were the fight on the scorecards, but the corner should have pulled him there.

Must be the end for Big Fraizer now, as he's hit his ceiling, but he will be gutted there, as I felt that was an easy fight early on.

    Snap

So I wonder how many boxing fans saw the BW KO live?

    About 300?

I had Fraze mid rounds. Were all good at hindsight but looks like the first Wardly fight took something from him. Not the first. Wont be the last.
Hung about in the amatuers perhaps to long. AJ then Joe Joyce took his place. Went 3 cycles before he got there

BBC 2 had a good night.

Was a domestic level HW war.

Clarke has simply nothing left in regards any higher end fights.

TVK yup bit of a knob.

Terry O Connor scorecard again he's surely a brown envelopes judge? He's consistently bad.

O'Conner is a fat disgrace he has been maxing out the expenses with a starter and a pudding for decades now.

I think Clarke remained in the amateur system too long and staying in Loughborough around team GB has been too much of a comfort zone. I thought both fighters looked nothing more than gloried sparring partner level last night.

Just watched what was a good honest scrap with TKV having the fight of life - I had Clarke pre-fight to win mid - late BUT Frazer looked gassed from R7 onwards. His latter fight conditioning looked awful.

Also, I rather for once enjoyed the commentary.

Onto Dec 20th for Simpson v Williamson.

A bad result for Boxxer thinking about it.

Clarke was one of their feature fighters. I cant imagine TKV carrying much value as a name

Well with regards Olympians and BBC, last time they had boxing they spent a reported 1m on Audley Harrison getting a long term deal for his early fights IIRC @Beale @boxberry92 etc may remember?

Lot of criticism for AH as his early pro opponents were not exactly great.

Why did everyone blame him partly? He took a decent deal that was on offer, BBC made a bad business call and they have wasted many millions on worse programming before and since!!

Frazer Clarke is the idiot that wanted assurances from Boxxer about where the company is going in the future and whether it's worth sticking with them. The guy needs to worry about his own performance rather than acting as if he's some sort of hot commodity.

Nah. He was absolutely atrocious when he did snooker, trying to impersonate whispering Ted Lowe and generally talking absolute shite.

She was repeating Bunce when he said "an attritional fight". Maybe need to clean your ears out or broaden your vocabulary. One or the other.

Why would he soon learn? He's been commentating on television like that for well over twenty years across a number of sports. I thought he was quite funny last night. I enjoyed it a lot more than Adam Smith selling, selling, and selling.

The problem with Audley, in my view, was he was one of Tony Burns’ biggest disappointments at Repton, and the old heads still say it. The Olympic hype and the BBC’s £1m deal made him think he’d cracked the code, and fair play, he had. But it inflated his ego. He built a team of yes-men with Harding and McMillan, lived like a champion before earning it, and never really improved.

He looked the part and sold himself brilliantly, but it always felt like all presentation and no substance. He just plateaued. I even bet mates he’d be a world champion, and I still owe them now.

£1m buys a lot of silk pyjamas.
