I'm not assuming you literally just said it again. Jai is bigger and hits harder so he wins lol. Your high level break down is based on Jai is too big and strong, and totally ignoring skills and attributes.

That's how a casual would look at a fight. David was not supposed to walk down anyone at 175 yet he has walked down 3 power punchers in a row, you still don't understand what's going on. Jai would be no different, he would get walked down as well. You are acting like he would be immune to David's power and would ignore what's coming his way. Morrell, Yarde and Gvozdyk found out the hard way.

Instead of just focusing on what David has to deal with, how about also breaking down what Jai would have to deal with.

Stop it with the “casual” bull****.

There are weight divisions in boxing for a reason. I know you must spend your life imploring your sexual partners that size doesn’t matter but in boxing actually does, especially as you go through the divisions. This is why Inoue is not fighting Usyk for the HW title.

As for what Opetaia has to deal with against Benavidez, this is my point…there is nothing there that would remotely bother Opetaia as far as I can see. Certainly nothing he hasn’t seen and dealt with before. Benavidez, on the other hand has all sorts of problems to overcome.

Benavidez would bring nothing to the table to even remotely bother Jai? lmao... Just as I suspected.

btw go and list all the fighters he has fought that bring to the table what Benavidez does, since its nothing Jai hasn't seen and dealt with it before. Who is the Benavidez type fighter he has fought before.

Good fight. I'd very much like to see it and maybe it happens after Zurdo. To me Opetai's combination of sieze, strength and skill would probably be too much for Benavidez, but I wouldn't count him out. He'll probably put on weight and come into the ring at just over 200 or something like that. But it is tricky to fight heavier than you've ever been before against someone who still will be bigger. He will have at least one fight at the weight before Opetaia (if that happens), though, and that will help.

    Are you stupid mate?

Opetaia has taken care of stronger guys than Benavidez. He’s taken care of guys that hit harder. He’s taken care of rangy, athletic guys that move well. Benavidez does not have a single weapon in his arsenal that Opetaia hasn’t seen and dealt with before. He does have a variety of things he does that make him more rounded than most of Opetaia’s opponents but in the end he is just a smaller/weaker version of all of Opetaia’s strengths. Hence, size matters in this case.

Now, and be honest about it, answer that same questions for your guy. Has he ever been in the ring with a guy that brings the power, speed, sheer physical strength and granite chin at that size as Opetaia?

You want to dismiss Opetaia as a guy that beats up on cab drivers, fine…that’s your funeral. But you will come back grovelling after he dispenses with Benavidez, should David not run for the hills like every other CW has.

(big props to the guy if he takes the fight BTW)

Stupid would be thinking that cherry picking attributes from a bunch of different fighters is the same as the package of attributes a single fighter brings in the ring. In other words he has never fought a fighter than has the combination of attributes Benavidez brings in the ring. The speed, power, volume, aggression, fight IQ and skill. It's hilarious you thought fighting 10 fighters with 1 of those attributes is the same as fighting an opponent has them all in the same package. Unbelievable.

The only thing Jai brings is maybe more power but even that is questionable considering he has only knocked out bums. Morell and Gvozdyk both put someone in a coma, and were skilled boxers with size. Yarde had the power to hurt Beterbiev and was huge.

I'm not dismissing him. You are dismissing Benavidez though. You don't seem to understand he is a p4p fighter who is more skilled and dangerous than anyone Jai has ever fought. A 40 year old 2 year out of the ring briedis almost had him out yet you act like he's invincible.

It would be an awesome fight

I gotta go with Opetaia by KO

Not sure Benavidez power will have the same effect at cruiser
