Rumors are that this will be the fight for the IBF mandatory shot

    Big step up for Torrez

Torrez Jr. takes this but gets obliterated in his next fight...

He's gotta do it at some point. Let's see what's up. Completely rooting for the CHP 'stache. WAR TORREZ!!!

I don't trust Cuban heavies. They seem lazy or burn out quickly. Otherwise, I'd pick Sanchez based on styles and what I saw from him against Ajagba.

If neither bites off more than he can chew before then, I'd like to see a Torrez-Itauma matchup by early 2027.

By whom tho? I genuinely doubt that Usyk will fight Torrez of all people. The #2 ranked IBF guy is Chisora, followed by Sanchez, Torrez, Dubois, Anderson, Hunter, Bakole.

 We might get Torrez vs Chisora for the vacant belt, or an all American showdown between Torrez and Anderson.

Torrez KO, too relentless, too fast, constant feints will mess with Sanchez rhythm

I think he'll continue to win at this level for a while. Sanchez has peaked and will probably start regressing pretty rapidly like Cuban amateurs tend to when they find their ceiling and/or get to comfortable after defecting. That being said Torrez is a brutal KO waiting to happen and like many like before it him it will probably come against someone not very regarded/massive underdog.

Relax lad it's a light hearted comment and I actually hope Torres wins the fight.

Sanchez can’t deal with pressure fighters as we saw against Kabayel big time.

Torrez unproven though, but Sanchez really isn’t great.
