7-5 GGG plus the knock down. Jacobs fought out of his skin that day. Credit to Jacobs for a great fight and breaking GGG'S 23 fight KO streak.

The 2nd Canelo fight was GGG'S last near prime fight at 36 years old. He fought a spectacular fight against a spectacular and improved apponent. He deserved the hard fought win after the first blatant robbery. From age 37 to 40 it was a more diminished version of GGG, being trained by a less aggressive style of boxing. He was still great, but not quite the same. Two out of those four fights were tough challenges, and by the time he got to Canelo at 40, he was obviously past it.

    I had Jacobs winning 114-113.

So does that mean I can add an unofficial loss to Golovkin's record ?

Like you adding unofficial wins to Golovkin's record ?

Yeah I understand your argument. But we also need to evaluate realistically.

The Jacobs fight is pretty much a nothingburger. Golovkin won that and it is fairly clear. Yes, Jacobs was competitive. I think the shock of him putting up such a good fight made people overreact.

Derevyanchenko is closer. I would agree that a different set of judges could have handed GGG a loss. I had it 6-6 or 7-5 to Golovkin with the KD making the difference. However several rounds could fall either way.

Derevyanchenko has been kind of unlucky in his results. He could have had wins over both Jacobs and Golovkin with a bit of luck.

Those who were living during his reign, remember it all like it was, and the scandal of the 2 Canelo fights. The wrong guy getting the loss and draw. All others will look up footage or ask Chat GBT, which is based on to information that already out there to get a clear definition of what he was like. It will also predict the detailed outcome of any fantasy bout in history. It has massive amounts of data on every boxer and can accurately predict a winner and break it down. It's opinion is that GGG is an elite bad ass with a granite chin and huge power. None of this can be disputed. Look at the record of title defenses 20 defenses 18 by KO, look at the footage, ask, look at his fights with Canelo. He's just one of the best middleweights ever. There are alot of great ones, and he is one of them.

Golovkin is remembered as a boxing knockout legend. Canelo will be remembered for making it 36 rounds with Golovkin. A great feat.

The wrong guy won, and that was on purpose. 4 Ringside journalist gave Canelo the wins out of the entire 2 fights. Two each if I'm remembering right. Out of like 80 journalist.

He could have a win over Munguia as well. Derevyanchenko can really fight.

GGG never beat anyone, lost to the only name he ever fought and only fought him because he was moving up. He and Kovalev were the two most overhyped, protected fighters of their era.
