Helluva lot better than the inductees from last year. All three of these men massively deserve to be in the HOF.

Last years wasn’t that bad since Manny Pacquiao was bound to be inducted and Michael Nunn deserved a HOF spot. It was only Vinnie Pazienza that was questionable.

How does Benn have any case? I wouldn't put him in his eras top 5

It would be like Dillian Whyte making the hof

It’s a Hall of Fame which doesn’t necessarily factor in how great a boxer they are (trainers, promoters and managers have also been inducted). Benn was a massive draw in England and brought a lot of hype and publicity to boxing beyond just the hardcore fans. He definitely deserves induction if we are considering his contribution to the sport imo.

He wasn't really a huge draw outside the UK though was he. Many non UK fans have probably never heard of him

Comparing Dillian Whyte to Nigel Benn is absolutely moronic.

Benn a 2 weight division champion with 11 World title wins who's one of the most popular British fighters of all time.

Is comparable to Whyte a Heavyweight contender who never won a world title fight ?

Benn beat Barkley in Las Vegas in a memorable fight.

Benn beat one of the most feared highly rated American KO artists in McClellan in one of the most brutal memorable fights of all time.

But yeah I'm sure no American boxing fans have hardly heard of Benn.

WBO didn't count in 1990. Benn gets in on the Gatti Rule. He wasn't as bad as Paz though.

Whatever you believe the other poster comparing Whyte to Benn is an insult to Benn I think we can agree on that.

Benn spent his career ducking Jones, Toney, Nunn etc. Championships and defenses are meaningless when you won't fight the best

Whyte would have done fine in a universe where he could simply duck guys like Fury, Joshua, Wilder etc
