It may seem silly on the surface, but if Eubank’s performance was heavily to do with him being drained, could he be much better at 168lbs? At the end of the day, he does rely on his athleticism and speed.

Also Benavidez may struggle to make 168lbs at this point.

    Who wins this matchup?

Why is it, exactly, that you want Eubank Jr to suffer brain damage? Use twenty words or less. Even Eubank Jr at his best would lose, horrifically.

Seriously? You want to put a guy who looked completely shot in his last fight up against Benavidez, who looked absolutely lethal last time out?

Eubank would be rejuvenated at 168lbs though, could that make all the difference?

Benavidez wouldn't lose to Eubank Jr. in a month of Sundays.

He’ll never be rejuvenated again, 36 years of age or whatever he is, coming off the back of 2 tough fights drained within an inch of his life, losing his brother, family issues plus whatever other health concern he has going on? Let the man retire….

There’s plenty for benavidez to be going at without wheeling guys out of the hospital, it’s a non starter

Not being weight drain doesn’t fix his average boxing skill.

I'm not sure current Eubank Jr could even beat Jose Benavidez.
