Dutch Boxing prospect Gradus Kraus wins IBF European Light-Heavyweight title with brutal KO

I might be going against the grain here but from what I have just seen there, he looks very much like a kickboxer trying to box.
He may have power and even potential but he doesn’t have a great jab and comes forward looking for overhands without any set up or footwork, his head movement looks very much like that of a kickboxer and guard to, the way he moves his hands is odd too, like he’s almost feinting.
It’s mad to see people rating this guy and then seeing the negativity against, Moses Ituma, who clearly has every box ticked, this Dutch guy has pretty clear flaws, but it’s worth noting that this is only based off what has been posted here, and I tend to get more wrong than I do right when it comes to young boxers.
But in Moses I think it’s hard to find any flaws so people go with what’s his jaw like, he hasn’t faced anyone, can he go the distance.
These two fighters are comparable in regards to where they are in their careers aren’t they?
But anyone who is knocking the Dutch for their contribution to boxing should check the absolute beasts they have produced in kickboxing, including probably my favourite fighter not from boxing (apart from fedor obviously) Ramon dekkers was an absolute beast.

 

I used to mate I lived in the kickboxing capital of the Netherlands, beverwijk had some solid gyms and then I lived in the bijlmer in the Gs.
But I wasn’t massively into it just got into Ramon for obvious reasons, he was as relentless a fighter as I have seen an absolute animal who put it on the toes of those Thai lads.
I think I lost interest in the sport because of the amount of different world championships and governing bodies, it makes boxing look like the model of sport governance.
But I think my favourite era was when K1 really blew up, how are the Dutch fighters doing in glory? Any you suggest I should follow and any suggestions of recent quality fights ?

 

Kraus looks excellent.. very sharp, fast and skilful with power.

His promoter is doing a good job of keeping him active, 9 fights in 14 months!

The way he's looked so far, you'd expect him to be a future world champion.

 

Far far far too early to tell...

Lets exercise caution here. He could just prove to be a complete hype job.

 

He's hot-dogging against cab drivers.

 

He looks good but I never trust the dudes who transition from a diff combat sport. He could win a title just like a guy like Algieri or Tenshin but he won’t beat a guy who was born into the sport like Benavidez.
