Who did you guys think deserved the decision? Or was a draw reasonable?

I had Cruz edging it but a draw is reasonable yes there was about 4 swing rounds.

Cruz was ahead after 5 rounds definitely.

    Roach won rounds 6-10 definitely.

    Round 11 was debatable.

All in all I'd say a draw was pretty legit and fair.

    Pitbull Cruz clearly won.

The Ring Warrior Isaac Cruz had the referee, the commentators, and the judges all against him. He deserved better.

114-112 Isaac Cruz. The point deduction was "bull feces."

    Cruz

And regardless how anyone scored it, let's not forget how extremely rare it is we see US fighters get points deducted for excessive holding even though no one holds more than them. Funny how we see US refs deducting points from foreigners for holding over there way more often though. They literally allow US fighters to hold to an insane degree all night without so much as a hard warning

How often does the Brit find themselves on the wrong side of a Brit stoppage in the UK? Exactly. It's pure corruption and home cooking and it cost Cruz the fight which was by design

Cruz was doing really well in the first half, but he slowed down and allowed Roach to take control in the 2nd half of the fight.

With that being said, I had Cruz by a couple rounds. Some of the swing rounds are close and I'm not surprised by the draw. Cruz was showboating a bit too much, like dancing instead of doing what he was in the first half. He could have won it comfortably if he kept up the intensity.

    1 - Pitbull

    2 - Pitbull

    3 - Pitbull (+ Roach knocked down)

    4 - Pitbull (swing)

    5 - Pitbull (swing)

    6 - Roach (swing)

    7 - Roach (+ Pitbull deducted a point)

    8 - Roach

    9 - Roach

    10 - Roach

    11 - Roach

    12 - Roach

114 - 112 Roach. If I give Cruz all the swing rounds I’d have it a draw. If I gave Roach all the swings it’d be 9 - 3. Don’t mind the draw but I think it’s generous to Cruz (his second generous decision this year, the first being the Fierro fight). Surprised to see people here saying Cruz won when he literally took the second half of the fight off.

Cruz clearly won the first five. He also IMO won the 6th, 11th & 12th - closer than 1-5, but still clear.

The real toss-up is round 7 - and it makes the difference between a 9-9 round if you score it for Cruz, as I did, or a 10-8 for Roach.

Roach won the 8th and 10th clearly and the 9th close.

@CST80 was right, even if you reach for Roach and generously give him the whole swath of rounds 6-10, it still leaves him no path to victory on points. Even with the deduction from Cruz.

I don’t know who won, but it was a great fight, I loved it. I watched it and it was close. I think Cruz won, but a draw isn’t bad. I appreciate that Lamont stood there and agreed to fight Pitbull’s fight. He’s a tough guy and has a great chin, definitely.

As I stated on the RBR... It really is amazing how effective these criminal PBC narratives are, half the full of **** biased clowns on Twitter are claiming Roach got robbed right along with them. Cruz dominated the first half of the fight and scored a knockdown, then won the 12th and has an argument for winning the 11th and the round he was docked a point in. There's literally no possible route for a Roach victory. People at this point, literally exist in their own realities.

I edged it for Cruz. A draw is OK.

In no way did Roach win, if you give him all the debatable rounds you get a draw.

The PBC commentary was a disgrace and they did their job of convincing the casuals that Roach was robbed.
Roach played along with the narrative in his post fight interview it was pathetic.

I felt Cruz won. imo he was landing the more impactful and meaningful punches, while setting the pace, and generally being more the aggressor.

Roach supposedly landed slightly more power punches (while throwing almost 100 less) but they did next to nothing, while Cruzs shots seemed to me to land cleaner and have more effect.

This isnt the amatures where a couple more lighter 'scoring' shots outweigh the heavier, more impactful and effective ones.

Imma rewatch it though, too many people have it for Roach and combined with the punchstats, I just wanna rescore it.

If you wrote a symphony it would consist of a single note in a minor key.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and you're talking to someone who is a walking symphony which consists of notes and keys your uncultured fat ass doesn't even know exist
