Opetaia is clearly leagues above them in technique and athleticism, but he is kinda fragile, which makes the matchups interesting. He literally got this face dented in this fight, and went life and death with Breidis twice.
The dude does not take punishment well, but ironically his chin is holding up tho. Weird guy.

Cinkara was Jai's mandatory and he had to accommodate him

Thompson, Zorro and Squeo were poor opponents but it's not like Jai hasn't been calling out the other champs and top CWs. It's not his fault they want nothing to do with him

He even offered to give CBS his half of the purse to entice him into a ring with him FFS and I'm also a big CBS fan

Zurdo claims he doesn't know who the IBF champ, Ring magazine champ, and #1 CW in the world is. Funny how he knew who CBS is when it came to fighting a unification match up, eh?

Jai is clearly very frustrated about being ducked and being unable to secure unification match ups and the big fights and I think it showed in his performance in the ring the other night. He was overeager and just wanted to blast Cinkara out of there quickly and he was being too repetitive with his attacks doing the same thing over and over again loading up with the big left hand and it lead to him walking into shots from Cinkara who was crafty, accurate and had good timing with his shots. When Jai actually relaxed and put more thought into what he was doing he timed him with a counter over the lead right hand and it obviously had a devastating effect

What else are the outside the top 5 cruisers gonna do haha, there’s only reward for them. Take the money while it’s there with a big name, Cruiserweight can be an absolute wilderness.

They’re angling for easier belts to take from Zurdo and Jack. Anybody with eyes can see why Opetaia is the absolute last resort here. Why risk your career against the one guy who can seriously hurt you?

They'll make more fighting Opetai than anyone else even with a belt, no one really cares about Cruiser like that outside of the hardcores. Opetai has a bit ot casual awareness and anyone in the top 10 isn't going to be shitting themselves. He's hospitalising way over matched opponents, old Bredis gave him all he could handle and broke his jaw. The logic doesn't add up. Opetai isn't on a prime Tyson level of scary. I just don't buy it. He's even been visibly hurt twice this year against sub par opp lol, Jai is a good fighter no doubt, but people going way over the top with the scare factor. Good PR.

Why do you think they would make more money fighting Jai? I'm an Aussie and I hate to say it but he isn't well known here especially compared to Tim. He hardly gets any media due to the fact he's with the wrong promoter.
Also what other fighters have been calling him out? Who's he ducking? Cheers

You are 100% wrong but don’t let me get in the way of your bull****.

Opetaia literally offered CBS the full purse and CBS is still running so don’t tell me that the top guys aren’t shitting themselves.

Also, conveniently overlooked by the simple foamers in here is that Cinkara was the IBF mandatory.

Are we really expecting Opetaia to relinquish his belts whilst waiting for coward Zurdo to find some courage?

Not just talking about top guys, there surely is someone in the top 10 who will fight him. Stop getting so butt hurt as well by the way, Jai wont kiss you. It isn't that deep its all just bread and circus, it is a forum to share opinions. I believe there will be a fighter in one of the top 10 rankings who would fight him, he doesn't need Italian midgets and 40 year old men.
