Wardley and Dubois are not scheduled at present - perhaps it might involve one or both of those two?

Fury-Wardley would be a way of setting up Fury-Usyk III, unless Fury gets knocked out by Wardley.

    Chisora vs Wilder in february.

    - Chisora revealed today that Wilder had refused the December fight.
    - Chisora also refused to box in December because he felt he wasn't being paid enough.

Since then, Chisora has leverage to raise the stakes with the threat of a return to Matchroom or even the IBA:

This will attract far more fans than a third fight against Whyte, and if Wilder wins, he will gain legitimacy for the highly anticipated fight against Usyk, which could happen around May or June.

Yeah this is probably it. The funny thing is I think I would favor Chisora at this stage in their careers.

Some way to promote a fake title fight.

Wilder is shot to bits and I struggle to see him dealing with Chisora's pressure at the same time.

It will be peak hilarity for it to be Fury-Joshua, only for Joshua to lose to Paul (but maybe that would set up T.Fury-Paul, which would be equally hilarious.)

So was the whole Usyk-Wilder things just a wind up? Or planting the seed for it Wilder wins against Chisora?

I think Chisora stops Wilder at this point. wilder has looked awful his last two fights. Chisora hasn’t looked half bad.

but what happened to Usyk? Surely Usyk vs Wilder in Vegas would be a far bigger money fight?

Hard fight for Wilder if true. But also very winnable. It’s all or nothing for them both. Love it.

Based on their last few fights Chisora should win with little to no problems. Wilder cant pull the trigger and Chisora will press him without much fear and stop him before the middle rounds.

The announcement isn't boxing related. It's to do with horse racing in the UK. I follow horse racing and it was announced yesterday on a horse racing show that Queensbury and the Jockey Club are going to be working together.
