    As I said in the other thread, as crazy as it sounds, I'm not sure Pulev at 44 y/o with a way longer amateur career doesn't have more left of his former self than Gassiev does if his. Injuries might have taken more out of Gassiev than age and wear and tear has of Pulev. Pulev looks like an old version of himself doing an impersonation of his former self, Gassiev looks like he's doing an impersonation of his former self but I think Pulev might be doing a better job of it

    I've always liked both Pulev and Gassiev, but I'm rooting for Gassiev because it would be better for the division if the younger man wins.

    The only thing Pulev has ever really had going for him is a B+/A- jab, which sort of only became "the best in the heavyweight division" by default once Kingpin Johnson and Fast Eddie Chambers both sank into irrelevance.

    You need more than middling heavyweight power, an okay jab, and 5cm height advantage to beat an in-shape and focused Gassiev. :thumbsup:
