Ive only just watched the fight. I thought it was very close. Pacheco deserves credit for taking the Sadjo fight. I respect Pacheco for getting up, there was a lot of excessive holding i think he got away with though. I hope Sadjo gets another chance at someone, i think he showed hes legit tonight, theres plenty of young fighters that would have swallowed it under the pressure of Sadjo especially after that knockdown so fairplay to Diego.

Scorecards seemed very bias, feels as though every close round was given to Pacheco, the perks of being the Hometown/A side fighter i guess, had this fight been in France maybe we are seeing a different winner. i thought a split either way would be fine. One judge giving it to Sadjo would have been nice cause he came to bang.

I gave it 114-113 Pacheco, had the referee took a point at some point for holding like i think he should have, 113-113, a point off could have made Pacheco less inclined to survive through the holding giving Sadjo more opportunities

 

Too soon for Pacheco to fight again , must be negotiation tactic for Mbilli Sheeraz , Maybe Mbilli asking for too much ..

I missed the fight, but it seems like it was a typical Pacheco fight. I never liked him as a fighter, his fights are just completely souless. And souless is the best possible definition for Diego. No excitement, bravado or intensity at all. At least with Sheeraz, you could tell it means something for him to fight.

Why is this fight being explored? Wasn't he gonna fight Mbilli for the title? Ever since Bivol was stripped, there is clearly some animosity between Turki and Mauricio. I guess Riyadh Season are hellbend on jerking the WBC around with fight, which won't materialize.

 

I know from reliable sources that Luka Plantic should be Pacheco's next opponent, it should be a good fight.

 

My tinfoil hat theory is that Turki is trying to undermine the belts and their credibility to build the TKO brand. Maybe Suliman sees it. Crawford who is close to Turki dumped his WBC

 

I thought Pacheco won but Sadjo gave a great account of himself. I think Pacheco can beat Sheeraz who looked so-so vs Adames and has been flattered by the Berlanga result

 

Karen Holderfield only gave Sadjo one round besides the knockdown round, and gave Pacheco ten. Madness.

 

Cordina gave us another war

 

Cordina's match was an entertaining one. The Englishman clearly won for me, I disagree with the 114-113 scorecard. Ernesto Mercado will probably give us some good battle in the future. Pacheco won against a tough opponent, proving he can handle tough times. There's talk of him fighting Sheeraz for the vacant WBC world title, that would be an interesting matchup.
