If Aj returns to the ring quickly after this, then this would be nothing but a stay busy tune up. Big IF though

Why is that? You aren't a 17yo youtube fanboy of Paul's are you?

Perhaps he already has, by agreeing this fight.

I don't understand why Joshua is getting the props for taking this fight??
    It makes no sense.
Jake Paul is the one showing balls and stepping up.
Joshua is fighting a man a weight class and several skills and experience levels below him. It's insane that you guys are praising Joshua.

No, I'm actually a lot older than AJ.

    - I think it would be an incredible story because it's actually virtually impossible.
    - Also, AJ deserves to be chinned for taking this cynical cash grab fight instead of engaging in serious contests.

Did you complain about Fury when he chose Ngonnou? Boxing today is NOTHING like boxing 10-15 years ago. It's all about the wallet for these guys, and sales/views for the networks. It's fully become business over sport.

And IF Aj gets back in the ring quickly after this (Yes, big IF) then this would be nothing more than a stay busy fight. Which is OK, especially if he decapitates or ruins Fake Paul.

yes, of course, but I simply didn't watch the Fury-Ngannou fight. It was worse actually then this AJ-Paul thing because Fury was regarded as a world champion, AJ is only a 'former' champion.
Fury's a disgrace and he deserved to be knocked down like he was.

Why blame the likes of Jake Paul?
when it's AJ and Fury who should be held to the higher standard?
I just don't get the reasoning.

Just to let the HARDCORE Anthony Joshua fanboys know it's a TRASH fight and I'll be fast asleep Friday night.

Not blaming Paulk for anything. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Paul get pummeled and hopefully removed from any more of this stuff. He's nothing but a distraction for real boxers due to his popularity. If he were serious, he'd be fighting actual contenders, not using his draw power to lure real contenders in to the ring for a side show fight.

Like I said, if AJ has a quick turn around to a fight soon after, I can chalk this up to nothing more than a stay busy fight.

If real boxers stopped ducking their contemporaries there might be less interest in paul. How many actual contenders did Fury fight?

What kind of contender, top 10, top 5? Ring contenders or just regular ol ABC contenders? But without digging back in to record and rankings, can't even give you a guess.

But that is the problem, too many champs aren't facing top 3 contenders that I recall. Fighting once, MAYBE twice a year with a gimme so they don't lose their spot. I said over ten years ago that boxing is becoming less an actual sport, and more entertainment/business. And here we are. It barely resembles a sport.

Tbf at least Ngannou was a UFC champ in fury's weightclass. Not excusing the fight though.

Jake Paul is at Best an amateur cruiserweight.

It's shameful for AJ to even think of entertaining this, let alone actually going through with it.

Here's hoping it's done in one round and AJ actually takes his career seriously again.
