    Great news. Fitzsimmons is a truly fascinating fighter. My sense is that he was something of a horrible human but a genius inside the ring, an inexplicably powerful puncher, one who seemed to gain power as he moved up divisions (even though he himself didn't pack on the pounds).

    I thought you were done once the Dempsey series was over. As long as it seems that you can not stop, have you considered doing a book on Wills or Langford?

    Most folks don't realize that Fitzsimmons was a naturalized U.S. citizen.

    I also felt that one was needed, since there is a lot of fog around Willards early career.
