Boxrec doesn't tell you about amateur experience though. Even those with little amateur experience have 30-40 bouts before becoming a pro.

Whether or not a lot train full time isn't something regular fans are privy to. I doubt Paul spends any more time training than those who take boxing as serious. That's just all guess work from both of us though.

You know what, Paul does deserve credit for making this fight. It's like climbing Mount Everest with hiking boots and no sherpa. But he WAS trying to fight Tank Davis at first.

 

The thread asks who WILL win, not who you WANT to win. You chose Paul, meaning you THINK he will win. If you don't think Paul wins, your vote is a troll vote.

Just saw Sean Z on The Porter Way saying he thinks it will "be a fight" because Joshua has looked fragile and chinny and that Paul has better feet and speed. I usually think Sean has some of the best, most informative takes, but it's remarkable to see someone so knowledgeable believe that a guy who was outboxed by Tommy Fury over eight rounds will be able to handle Joshua.

I must be losing the plot, but getting knocked out by Dubois and Ruiz is an entirely different level to a club-fighter who couldn't even put a dent in a 40-year-old, post-rehab middleweight in JCC Jr. Does that even need pointing out? I can only presume they're being paid to promote it and play devil's advocate, when any journalist worth their salt should be denouncing this clown event on multiple levels.

Just for the record, I refuse to engage in this horse**** fight on the day, and will not be watching it. It's an absolute shitstain on the sport. Joshua and Hearn should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen and bringing the sport into further disrepute. I don't care how much money they are getting.

 

I can’t believe how many people are treating this like a real fight. Even a jab or a body shot from AJ and it should be over. If he hits him like he did to Ngannou, that just won’t be good for Jake’s health.

I just hope if it’s real that it ends quickly and safely

 

A lot of hardcore fans myself included can't stand Jake Paul because he disrespects the sport more than anyone has in history.
Yes he trains hard but all his fights he has a significant advantage over his hand selected opponents in size and age also guys who have never boxed before. Up until this current camp he hasn't even sparred anybody that could hurt him.

He says things he knows not to be true about other accomplished fighters and his fans who know nothing about the sport eat it up. He has made people think boxing is easy and that anybody can do it. He deserves no credit for getting in the ring with AJ because he is wasting everybody's time because we all know if this is a real fight that he is a dead man. He does not deserve a fight with somebody like AJ he is using boxing to fleece people and is making good money as a con man. I don't think that should be applauded.

That's exactly what's likely to happen.
Jake Paul will run around for as long as he can, absolutely terrified.
And he will crumble as soon as AJ taps him a couple of times.

If this is an actual fight with no 'pre arranged' angles, I think it's very sad that it's been sanctioned at all. And it's sad that Jake Paul has been allowed to delude himself or attempt to 'fool' his fans, to this extent.

Since there is no drug test for this, Joshua can also juice to the gill. I’d love to see a roid rage Joshua go at Paul.

 

About 12.5 % of people on here have voted for Paul to win. I thought this forum was mainly knowledgeable boxing fans but the poll proves otherwise.

 

Jake Paul just found out his mum is a Jew and had his bar mitzvah, make of that what you will but he has also claimed the script is written. I’m sticking money on the Paul win, Joshua is the sacrificial lamb here. Dear oh dear.

 

buddy, that 12.5% doesn't even begin to tell the story. that sounds more like the percentage of posters who don't even like boxing, theyre just here because of boxers. or the percentage of posters who actually know boxing, or can score fights.
