Bud dont strike me like those other fake ones. He been real and honest his whole career. Dont think we'll see him in the ring again.

Said it once and I'll say it again, Bud is live versus ANY WW in history. ANY.

I wonder if the recent Janibek Lara debacle played a factor in him announcing now? Undisputed at 160 must have been enticing for him.

People are not happy until someone suffers a loss.
Wasn't too long ago everybody was saying how Canelo was simply too big and powerful for Bud and what happened?
He has beaten every single person that has been put in front of him in multiple weight classes.
He almost FORTY YEARS OLD what do people want him to fight when he is in his forties?
He's a millionaire 10 times over so he's made his money.

    Oh now Spence was "damaged"??
Canelo all the sudden is " way" past his prime?
He gave Spence the beating of a life time and had no problems with Canelo its that simple.

Canelo was not all of a sudden past his prime the decline was noticeable in his last few fights before Crawford.
Yep agreed he mopped the floor with Spence who has done nothing since. Damaged might have been the wrong word.

Right you just have posts that try to diminish his accomplishments.
Funny how he beat GAMBOA and somehow that gets left off his resume.

He must be going down as an ATG considering how many butthurt posters are popping up in this thread.

    YES!!!!!!!

There's a reason why he hasn't fought since, and there's a reason why Garcia and Ugas both rocked him to the core, with glancing blows. Because that horrific car accident damaged him to a great extent and basically ended his career.

Gamboa was a decent win I will give you that but lets face it Crawford was a massive weight bully for the majority of his career.

Oh no remember Canelo was simply too big and strong for Bud and look who backed up who.
Spence took a horrific beating against Bud. The kind of beating that ruins boxers.

Garcia is a world class puncher and Ugas had just beaten Pac.
He hasn't fought because that was a horrible one sided beating.

His resume is good but unfortunately pretty thin. Hall of famer no doubt though, all the best in your retirement!
