Stay retired if you said you did. Stop trying to fake retire to work the game and get more money you divas.
Joe Calzaghe 2.0 A bit of a media creation who retires undefeated, giving his fans reasons to inflate his career… A legit talent who didn’t get the big names in his prime, but when he did he proved he was the real thing and shone the brightest on the biggest stage when it mattered most and went out on his terms. I lean towards the second example
Great fighter, he was a pleasure to watch. I've watched the highlights of his fight with Spence a good few times. He made a lot of money and got out without taking a lot of damage. All the best to him.
Crawford moved up two weight classes (three above his actual weight) and it was not fought at a catchweight. Also, I love how Canelo just aged overnight and was ''shot'' at 35 but Crawford was bang in his prime at 37 am I right?
Would you rather he said ''walking away as a quite good'' lmao you ''fans'' are so horrifically petty holy ****.
Don't forget all the Spence fanboys who are now Crawford fans were all saying "Bud too scared to cross the street and run dat fade with Errol" LOL yeah lots of modesty and class to throw himself a parade in his hometown
Yeah, I remember Spence coping that shot off Ugas. Didn't look like much and Errol seemed 1 punch away from a ten count. He never looked the same in the eyes after the car crash.
PBC froze him out for a long time at 147lb. He got his bigger fights after leaving Top Rank. Without evidence, I think he might have ended up being a pawn in a promoter's war. I like his style. Very good at poking holes in defences. Turned on the power when the opportunity was there. Could outside box. Very good counter puncher. In fact, I think he's been a pretty well-schooled all-around fighter. Wore quite a few flush shots, but apart from Gamboa, I don't remember him getting wobbled. Indomitable spirit. He didn't dominate every fight but he always found a way.
Well... if he feels like his limit is super middleweight, then indeed he has nothing to prove at that age.
This. And the version of Canelo Bud beat was better. The version Floyd fought had to cut 2 extra pounds Canelo wasn't a P4P level fighter at 154 (or 152 where he had to cut) as seen him arguably losing to Lara a fight later despite the cooked scorecard he barely scraped by Trout before Floyd, and most had Trout winning 4-5 rounds at least his resume at that point was very thin despite 40 fights everyone knows he barely fought live bodies in 2013 Bud fought a better, more experienced, dangerous and version of Canelo in his best weight class. Bivol technically fought the best version of Canelo except that he was never a LHW so that docks him points.
