Too soon, especially to come back in a new division against a heavy handed guy with a new team in his corner that's in disarray, Tim might get sparked again.

Yeah... I noticed, that's another reason why I think this might be to soon. Murderzaliev got him out of there quickly, and he still waited 6 months to come back, the Fundra rematch was a prolonged beating, which probably took more out of him, yet here he is, returning after just under 5 months. Not a good idea.

 

Sadly, that's a very idiotic way to look at his career, how about prolong it as much as possible? Certainly he hasn't blow through the Fundora rematch money. So what's the rush? Sure, it seems like it's a sensible fight, but... Velasquez is an unknown commodity and that's always a risky proposition. Maybe he's a bum with a padded record and he tears through him like wet toilet paper. But what if his power doesn't carry up? What if ATV has solid whiskers and hits harder than advertised? What if he's still feeling the effects of the Fundora match? Then he loses by KO again and his next match makes even less money. Then before long, he's a sad journeyman.
