I kinda want Paul to win because AJ's a bigger fraud that he is.
It's incredible that AJ's getting so much support for this nonsense. People are saying "AJ needs to save boxing". He's done the opposite by even accepting the fight, and he's always been a complete fraud anyway.

It's like a grown man beating the **** out of a nosiy little child, possibly killing the child .... and there's a whole crowd of scum-bags applauding him for it.

Always has been, always will be.

**The fact that he's even fighting Jake Paul (yes, i know the "for the money, he can't turn it down" excuse) proves he's a fraud. The fight is either rigged/fixed, or one of the worst inexcusable mismatches in boxing history. Either way, that makes AJ a fraud. Every knows it.

**AJ spoke to Turki asking for a low-profile late undercard fight, and was going to face Cassius Chaney. So he claims he wasn't looking for a pay-day, he claims he was looking to get away from the main event limelight focus and take a quiet road back, fight a 38-year-old journeyman heavyweight, Cassius Chaney has never been in AJ's class, but he's a 6'6, 260 pound man. But he ran towards the Jake Paul offer because he's not wanting out of the limelight at the moment, he's simply wanting out of real fights.

** AJ could draw big mega-millions paydays fighting any real fighter (for example, Daniel Dubois, or if that's too scary, Martin Bakole, Efe Ajagba, etc.) and get himself back into the rankings at the same time, if he is good enough. He doesn't need to stoop to Jake Paul. He quickly changed his tune about needing a fight away from the limelight.

** AJ changes his training team every time he loses. And every time, a whole legion of his fans buy into the whole "new, improved" AJ "2.1" bull****. It's laughable at this stage. It's a scam. It's all meaningless and it's PR. He's 36 years old, he can box already, and if he can't, he never will.

** The only way AJ believes he can get a win in America is a Jake Paul type fight. He fell to pieces last time he crossed the Atlantic.

It's beyond ridiculous. It's an utter farce. He should be laughed out of boxing for taking this "fight".

Even if it wasn't a staged fight, Paul simply doesn't have the skill or the power to do anything...

Roiding won't help him avoid taking flush power shots. If this goes the distance, people should boycott AJ fights.

I'm still trying to work out what's going on this fight. Just a very weird event. I have seen rumors of a non tko/ko clause in the fight contract, which might explain things if its true.

If they are going to fix it, the easiest way of doing it would be to put a no KO/TKO clause in the contract. Ensure that AJ pulls his punches and basically carries Jake around the ring for 8 rounds.

It is also something that AJ would probably agree to as it would be a really easy nights work for him. Massive reward and zero risk, basically a low energy spar that he may do anyway in training at the beginning of a camp.

$1,000,000 to blow Chaney out in a round or 2
$50,000,000 to blow Jake Paul out in a round or 2

I agree man, AJ made a awful decision, who the hell wants to do their job for 50x the amount.

If my job ever offers me 50x the amount for doing the exact same job im gonna tell them hell no cause i aint a fraud!

Masters Degree level of AJ hate. Could of saved yourself 20 minutes writing that thread up and just said "I hate AJ" instead bro.

You write good posts. In this case though I am of the opinion that hardcore boxing fans don't have the obligation to accept very rich people (i assume joshua is above 300 mill) tarnishing their legacy for money.

I understand when tyson or chavez jr do it. Aj is rich as stones as it is. And an active, well -ish, fighter. Heavyweight on top.

In general it is weird for us to defend such behavior instead of blaming it for what it is - a business decision, yes, but also a blatant robbery of gullible people. Fake or total mismatch aren't good options from the perspective of fans of the sport.
