Sadly this is right. This utter fraud Joke Paul shouldn't be in a fight with any real boxer. It is such a stain on this sport's history, turning it into a WWE style spectacle.

I think the Saudi boxing has become a bit wwe style, the events, the production, the media overhype over anything to do with Saudi or British boxing. For example, the narrative that we only get “the fights we want” because of Saudi is preposterous.

we are still in the same boat, some fights we want are made and some are not, just like it was 5+ years ago and throughout the history of the sport.

I don’t recall anybody calling for Canelo to fight Crawford until it was made, then the media was convincing everybody we have been trying to get this match made for years. We were wanting the Benavidez fight…thanks for not delivering it and trying to blend that we wanted him to fight Crawford.

After what should be a short night, I'm hoping he gets back in the ring in February.

I look at it this way - this fight no matter how much of a farce it is gets AJ in a camp again to train and get in top shape get back into a routine and rhythm etc. By all accounts AJ should end this fight in devastating fashion within the first two rounds. Its essentially a high paying glorified tuneup for whatever he decides to do in first quarter 2026. Plus, if done properly (like he did to Ngannou) it rids us of the Jake Paul farce once and for all.

Money turned boxing into a WWE type spectacle a long time ago. This is nothing new.

Agreed. I've always been a fan of guys taking stay busy bouts so long as they still take top contenders twice a year. Hell, fight 6 gimmes in a year with two real fights. Keeps guys sharp and in shape. James Toney used to do it when he was at the top of his game.

AJ won't fight any 'live' opponent, legit heavyweight contender, again, unless it's a 'cash out' retirement package. Maybe someone like Moses Itauma, or, if he can get a shot at Fabio Wardley.
    He's not fighting anyone good.
We know this, because the only time he did so since losing to Usyk the second time (over 3 years ago now) was against Dubois ..... which was for a 'world title' shot .... and he was destroyed.
The second-best fighter he's taken on it that time was Otto Wallin, a fringe/borderline top 10-15 contender. And Wallin was the weakest puncher in the top 30 of the division.

AJ is 36. He's time has passed. He's making big money fighting a Youtuber. Good for him. Serious fights to climb the rankings won't be on his agenda.

    AJ is full of ****.
He's talking about Tyson Fury, but he's fighting Jake Paul, and he wants no part of Daniel Dubois (who took his soul) or any ranked heavyweight.
AJ is the biggest fraud in boxing.

Joshua wanted the fight with Fury instead of Paul, but Belly Fury has always avoided him.

Belly is the fraud. I don't see him fighting any live opponents other than the much smaller Usyk, and he avoided Usyk to fight Chisora and then Ngannou.

Why won't Belly fight Wardley or Dubois? At least Joshua did fight Dubois.

You have to ask yourself what you're saying, sometimes...

Joshua's a former champion, who became unified and had multiple wins over proven legit contenders - this fight happening is a bit of a joke, fullstop, but Paul's whole career is a grift off the sport.

It's no secret who I think is an actual phony/fraud in the heavyweight division... But even Wilder has way more right to be in the ring on a ppv than Jake Paul does.

If all you're trying to say is that real boxers shouldn't be legitimising this JP attention whoring then I'm absolutely fine with that... Then again, you could equally say this is a perfect way to end the nonsense once and for all.

He already has by agreeing to participate in the biggest farce and black eye in the history of the sport.

In fairness, Turki openly and publicly tried to make the Benavidez fight. He even at one point called Canelo stupid for not accepting his offer on the fight. He didn't get it done, but you cannot say he didn't try.

Usyk should man AJ's corner during the Fury fight. Would be hilarious.

This fight sickens and disgusts me. AJ should win by murder in one round but something seems fishy about a fight that should have never been sanctioned. Something makes me think there is going to be an upset tonight. I hope I’m wrong and will be watching but not rooting for either guy. I want to see Paul carried out of the ring on a stretcher and never fighting again. It’s a lot to ask but anything short of that is going to disappoint.
