I agree that not always fighting the other big name in every fight is crucial, simply saying that’s his reign-wilder, Chisora and Whyte.

I've always felt with Fury he didn't like the pressure at the top. Psychologically he couldn't handle it. Too much to lose.

Fury seemed to love the sport fighting every couple of months against the likes of Firtha and Rogan. Stress free, nothing to lose.

 

Yeah he was definitely afraid of losing, I remember Usyk saying it during negotiations too.

Boxing can be a cruel world. You lose, and people don't let you live it down.
