Not rigged. Jake was 100% on his bike and only trying to survive. Was petrified to throw any punches. Maybe threw 1 or 2 the whole fight. It's hard to land on a guy that does not want to engage like that. AJ eventually figured out his rhythm and started landing, cut the ring off and then landed a flush right hand. Exactly how I thought it would go, except I didn't think Jake would flat out run like that, given the way he was talking before the bout.

I think if he was delusional enough to take this fight then he's crazy enough to fight again, probably against someone outside of his level too. Agree that a Tommy Fury rematch makes the most sense.

When a fight comes across you as the commission have to justify why it was allowed to take place - he is experienced, number of bouts, etc.
So if I presented this fight to you what would you say ?

Bro, AJ's feet and ring IQ were crap. He's also coming off an absolute obliteration he suffered at the hands of Dubois.

The stiff dosser couldn't handle Jake's movement and him ducking low, which led to Jake catching him flush a few times.

    He hasnt.

I question the boxing iq of anyone who thinks this fight was genuinely rigged, or any of his past ones.

The closest to fixed and rigged any of his fights have been is, he went easier on Tyson then he could have went once he realized Tysons abilities, and AJ was in sparring mode for a couple of rounds against Jake.

Both of these things happen in boxing in legitimate fights with no fixes involved.

If you think this fight with AJ was fixed, and not the natural conclusion to a nervous, gear 1 AJ trying to walk down a guy in full backpeddling mode, I dont know what to tell you.

I'm with you. This whole thread is really exposing the intelligence of a lot of posters man. It's quite surprising.

Dubois a real HW. Not a youtuber half his size who fights washed up UFC fighters and geriatric old men.

It takes a boxer like AJ SIX rounds to cut off the ring ? No right hands to the body? No double triple jabs to find the range?

Like all boxers do. What do you think Haye and Bellew were doing after their first fight?

I already wrote my take several pages back and no I don't think AJ was holding back, Jake just fought like a ***** and made a guy who isn't a natural at walking guys down, walk him down.
