Jake boxes circles around him, probably stops him. Jake is actually a boxer: not a great one, but still a boxer nonetheless. Ngannou is not a boxer. That's the difference.

Tyson Fury was an idiot for turning up fat as **** and untrained, and legitimising Ngannou

Who’s the smallest decent boxer that beats him past or present ? Or “, the ‘worst’ boxer that’s sort of his size?
Basically what’s the least amount of boxer it’d take to beat him

    Ngannou by KO.

Bigger, more durable, way more bottle.

Ngannou has fought two of the three best heavies of the era - and both times turned up to fight, even against the one known for fearsome punching power.

Paul would turn up to run - and it wouldn't last.

If they were the same size it might be more interesting... As it is, it'd be a one-sided beating.

There’s an argument to say that professional boxing’s ranking system might not be as fleshed out as a boxing fan might think. Ultimately, it’s a more convoluted system than a boxing fan might think.

Pluck a 10-0 fighter and put him in with a world caliber boxer and roll the dice. Leon Spinks is a great example.

Ngannou vs Paul would sell greatly if marketed correctly.

Ngannou ends him, it wouldn’t be big brother having a light spar with him

I'm not a fan of Jake Paul but if he wants to continue doing his thing for the casual fan base against fellow celebrities or retired fighters who want to make some quick cash then that's fine.

But i don't want the serious side of our sport being mixed in with clown shows like this anymore I think it just makes the sport look less respectable.

Paul has a market in the casual fan base but not at world class level he should stick to doing what works for him.

Paul got his jaw broken last night it could've been even worse let's just put an end to silly fights like this before someone gets serious life altering injuries.

I'm just waiting for the Fury/Wilder nuthuggers to come into this thread and point out that Ngannou is a former WBC top 10 ranked contender and that it shouldn't even be sanctioned. :risas3:

In all seriousness - a lot of the time rankings are somewhere between bizarre and an absolute ****ing joke... And partly because of that, you do get fights which on paper/ranking should be mismatches - it can be that one is rated much higher than they should be, or one is ranked much lower, or equally it can just be that one is unproven (and better than they've shown) or declined (and shouldn't be up there anymore).

Rankings will never be perfect - it's almost impossible.

(Edit: long live the Paul Vs Ngannou thread, lol)
