I mean wtf. First two main events. Two losses. It's just a continuation of what he did at Sky, Where he somehow managed to royally **** up a huge budget and the sky sports boxing power machine.

He needs a new career, urgently. He's the worst Boxing promoter I've ever seen by a long distance. He doesn't have a clue what he's doing.

Super Sam Hickey is one to watch.

As for Callum Simpson, Troy Williamson is no mug and a test for anyone.

Credit to Wiliamson for pulling off the shock but the result is not a big shock for me.

Get behind the fighters you enjoy watching and fook Mr Turkey and Promoters.

He promoted both men in the first fight.

Would you rather he put his fighters in against opponents that they’re 1/100 odds on to win? You’d then be moaning about that.

Williamson was a 5/1 underdog, a career middleweight who'd lost 4 of his last 5 fights.

Make no mistake about it, it was a big cherry pick gone wrong. Callum Simpson was one of Ben Shaloms top 2 main male stars who he had massive hopes and plans for.

Frazer Clarke was the one he has invested the most money in, stupidly paid huge money to sign him as an Olympian:lol:, he definitely wanted Clarke to win.

Simpson was already a huge favourite at 1/7, and Clarke was 2/11.

Bookies odds can mean nothing on fight night.

The two biggest shocks I have watched live were both Matchroom Fighters.

    1. Natasha Jonas stopped by Viviane Obenauf in round 4 when she was 1/100 odds on.
    2. Anthony Joshua was stopped by Roly Poly in New York when he was 1/25 odds on.

Out of the ring, a bigger shock to me was the Skye Nicolson selfie in her hotel room revealing a pair of size 13 shoes on her floor.

I don't understand the grief Shalom gets; he is a young guy, almost certainly learning on the job, doing his best to put on decent cards without a Saudi sugardaddy. And I certainly don't understand those who want Shalom to fail; a plurality of promoters, under a plurality of broadcasters, is undoubtedly a good thing.

They all used to hate Warren but now Hearn has been paid to be friends with him and has turned his attentions to Shalom they’ve followed suit. Weird bunch.

Couldn't tell you mate. I don't get the whole 'loyalty to promoters' phenomenon. I just see them as businessmen, nothing more nothing less. I've been critical of Hearn more than others in recent years, mainly because of the way he handled the whole Conor Benn saga and all the hypocrisy surrounding it. I find it baffling how people online are such dedicated fans of Hearn. They are up there with Taylor Swift fans, 'nobody dare criticise him or you will feel my wrath'. You can tell which members of society would be first to drink the Kool-Aid and you could sell any old banged up motor to, some people are just really susceptible to a bit of charm and charisma, which to his credit, Hearn has a lot of.
As for Shalom, I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I always like to see the underdog succeed. He's young and done well to get a foothold in a sport which is monopolised by two very powerfully and influential stables. He's definitely made mistakes with some of his signings when at Sky, but it's all experience.
