Fury's skills are light years ahead of AJ's If Fury has a decent camp and no tune-up, he outboxes AJ to an easy UD. Easy. If he has a tune-up, gets easy win, and a good camp he can take Joshua how he chooses, out box him easily OR KO him. In fact, Joshua's chin is so poor, Fury could probably knock him out either way TBH.
He's not nearly as fast a runner as Jake and he's certainly less and less of an elusive target. Chasing down Jake for 6 rounds was excellent practice for the big dosser. AJ is going to obliterate the big lump, and knock Belly into his third, or will it be fourth retirement? AJ clearly wants to atone for his sins and please his Daddy Usyk, and with this win, he'll become his favorite son.
Idk if AJ could catch a 255 lb Fury (if we ever see it again) and let's not fool ourselves; Fury can handle himself in the pocket if needed.
Sure he can, I'm not saying Fury doesn't have a chance, just that AJ has thrice the skill set of Wilder, and a similar set of whiskers. He'll land and land aplenty, which won't be a good thing for Fury, because one of these times, his powers of recovery may fail him.
I think Fury is skilled enough to keep this latest version of AJ rattled and uncertain, providing he comes in top shape of course. AJ is no Usyk.
Of course he isn't, but he also put up a far more spirited effort against Usyk in his rematch than Fury did in his.
But AJ has treated his body as does an elite athlete, whereas Fury has treated his like a farmer treats a pig he is fattening up. At a certain age, you stop being able to get back into shape. And AJ has the punch. I see it as an either-way.
This far along AJ knocks fury out cold, I feel it will be the best highlight reel of AJ's career at this point. Didn't ever believe he would have caught and beat fury before, but this far along with fury definitely losing a few steps and lost his legs, AJ KO's him now.
True, but conversely I couldn't see Dubios knocking Fury out in 5 rounds either. But I guess with Fury you never know which version turns up.
I don't think it matters if AJ is mentally cracked and unconfident. Fury tears him apart. Which given that he hasn't tried to avenge his loss against Dubios, instead chasing a YouTuber half his size 15 months later, it would suggest he is broken.
AJ is a bum always has been and always will if you need Fury to prove that despite Usyk and Dubious showing that last time out then you're either deluded, ignorant or just desperate I'd rather see Fury Usyk 3 just to see the unbelievable skills from both. The tact is beautiful to watch, so nuanced, so beautiful. It's a shame both are declining really...that fight in 2020 would have been godlike, even their first fight was incredible from a skills perspective. Meanwhile AJ is just a bodybuilder swinger.
Fury frequently benefitted from the 'of course he'd beat x fighter - so what's the point in facing him' argument. He only proves he's better than AJ (even at this stage) by, you know, fighting him.
