Usyk is Usyk. A HW's losing performance to Usyk isn't the gauge you want to measure the losing fighter by. Now, we can compare Fury's performance to Joshua's, that's fair. In my opinion, Fury should have been stopped in the 1st fight, but Fury looked better in the middle rounds than AJ did at any point in both of his fights with Usyk. I'd argue that Fury was more competitive over both fights than Joshua was. It's unfortunate for the boxing fans to have missed out on what could have been the most dominant fighter of this era. But, Fury liked food, pints and coke too much. Seems to be living his best life though. Can't be too mad at the man. LOL
You do realize that Joshua fought Usyk twice, right? For clarification, I am basing my judgement of Joshua´s performance in the rematch on how he performed in the first fight, and how he has fought ever since. Technique wise and tactically speaking, Joshua has never looked better. He should have stuck with Garcia as his trainer.
I don't think Anthony Joshua would go 3 fights with Deontay Wilder and not get knocked out at least once Fury did better than Joshua vs Usyk, Klitschko and Whyte
Joshua has stopped 5 of their 6 mutual opponents (Usyk being the obvious exception). Whereas, Fury has stopped 1 of their mutual opponents, went life and death with 2 of them, and had 1 truly great performance. Head to head on mutual opponents, it isn't even close. It's daft that Fury has ran from this fight for so long. He should step in the ring and put all arguments over who is better between him and Joshua to bed. No need for hypotheticals

You can't really play that game though because it's an easy argument to do on the flipside aswell. Fury went 12 rounds with Wallin with a horrible a cut and barely survived yet Joshua dispatched of Wallin easily in 5 rounds. Fury went life and death with Ngannou who Joshua flattened in 2 rounds. Also Joshua's 2nd best win aka Parker beat Fury's 2nd best win aka Wilder 12 rounds to 0. So you can easily pick and choose a narrative for either fighter.
He has 2 KO/stoppage losses in his prime to opponents bigger or his size and 2 losses to GOAT Usyk Lewis had 2 KO loses in his prime. In fact, he was one punch iced out by smaller or much smaller guys and had he dared fight a slick southpaw GOAT like Usyk x 2 he too would have at least 4 losses Yes, Lewis avenged both his losses and AJ has only avenged one of his so far but how much credit would he deserve if he avenged his loss against Dubois after literally dragging him out of an opium den/psych unit like Lewis did with McCall? Not sure that was a better version of Whyte to be honest. I think you will be hard pressed to argue it - though he definitely improved post Joshua fight. And I say that as Whyte's primary cheerleader on here ahead of the fight. Most people were telling me he was already shot and didn't deserve the title shot after getting stopped by Povetkin. But it's a solid win, but so too was Joshua v Whyte due to the stage of their careers End of day, Fury still has old men clowning him in his home town of Morecambe for not fighting Joshua. Fight Joshua, that ends, there and then, win or lose. I'm not sure I would want that hanging over me for the next 40 odd years. That is an excuse. Fury weighed less vs Wallin than he did against Usyk so he was in good shape for that fight and he simply struggled end of. Fury has had too many poor performances just to simplify that he fights down to the level of opposition everytime he struggles. Maybe he's just not as good H2H as people believed ?
