Vitali only defeated club-fighters cruiserweights and some solid, but slow, plodders who were all shorter than him. so, it's tricky to say how he would deal with Fury, who is slightly taller and slicker than himself. say what you like about Tyson Fury, but Wladimir and a prime Deontay Wilder at his most dangerous have the beating of Vitali in terms of resume, so there's that. But as for the fight? I don't really have a clue...but the poll results reek of nostalgia.
Corrie Sanders, at his most dangerous, would have been a nightmare for both Wilder and Fury. A rapid southpaw with dynamite in his left hand, he'd probably drop Fury heavier than SS Cunningham did, a cruiser with a 43% KO ratio, and Ngannou, a cage fighter with no pro boxing experience. VK crushes Fury; he's unbelievably overrated. In 10 years, people will laugh about how highly he has been rated throughout his smoke-and-mirrors career.
I never thought about that: did fury face any legit chaotic and explosive punchers? Wladimir Klitschko was a great puncher, but needed to control a fight. And wilder has slow feet and is only quick with his money punches. Not really creating chaos on the offense
Nope, I think he would've lost to Haye as well for that very reason. If Cunningham put him down, then Haye would've given him nightmares. V Klitschko is obviously a totally different fighter, but with his iron jaw and relentless output, he wouldn't have let Fury get into any rhythm and would've eventually grinded him down.
No way Fury would even take the fight. He has only ever fought bums or the corpses of once good fighters.
Fury's best win is against a 600 years old Klitschko. He accomplished nothing in his career. Vitali is much better than Fury.
