Prime for prime it is an easy win for Joshua. At this level Wardley will be needing a desperate come from behind ko in nearly every fight.

If Joshua wins this fight and beats another top guy, it will be almost impossible for him to get Fury to fight him.

Wardley gets better every fight, thats why he massacred Clarke in the rematch. Wardley is already a better fighter than Ruiz, Dubois and Chisora. He is a huge threat to prime joshua, boxing is more mental than physical and Wardley has a kill or be killed mentality.

Wardley will never be an elite boxer he is an elite brawler and it works. Wardley struggles with fringe contenders but still wins at the top level. He is better than people think, I only make Kabayel and Usyk a favorite he beats everyone else

Wardley struggled with Clarke then sparked him out easy in the 2nd fight, then struggled with Huni, to the point everyone thought Parker would school him. He's going to keep doing this, looking bad against the underdogs, then beating the favorites.

don’t get me wrong, I make Fury a very heavy favorite over Wardley. And i don’t think anybody is knocking out Fury — down, sure, out, nope, ****er gets right up every time and gets back to boxing like nothing happened.

but there is a world where Wardley can win 3 rounds on his own, and can score a KD in two rounds he was otherwise losing.

Sooner or later someone is going to beat Wardley. He can't rely on a late KO or stoppage to bail him out every time.

AJ should comfortably beat Wardley, perhaps even by a brutal knockout. Nobody can walk through punches forever and AJ can bang and box.

He doesn't need to do it the whole fight, just be a tank until he lands a devastating shot

    That's bollocks

Wardley just realised how to beat Clarke and fought to his strengths where as he let Clarke box in the first fight

By taking the fight to him ? Wasn't much of a different approach. Wardley is improving every fight. He doesn't have the amateur background and started late. Wardley from the Parker fight >> Wardley from Adeleye fight. His agility, timing and defense has gotten better

Big difference being a tank against relatively light hitting guys like Parker and Huni and big hitters like AJ. Chins are one of those things that are alright until they aren't, see big Joe Joyce for reference...

He is not Joyce, he doesn't just take 50% of your thrown. He had better defense as bad as it is and he's faster than slow as molasses Joyce who relied on gassing the other opponent. Joyce can't counter punch effectively and he isn't as awkward. Joyce doesn't hit as hard either and he was already on the wrong side of 30

I don't know how so many people are still fooled about joshua. Wardley would destroy him. Joshua is not beating a much younger, hungry power puncher with all the confidence in the world and the instincts of a honey badger.

I will say this. Joshua is gaining a new fanbase and I'm glad, they will watch him get knocked out AGAIN he if tries Wardley

While Joshua absolutely has the ability to outbox and stop Wardley, I just cannot confidently favour him against any punchers right now. He was never iron chinned but his chin seems to have gotten worse and more importantly, his mentality has gotten worse with it.

He looked nervous on the retreat every time Helenius pushed forward in their fight. Against Dubois he totally froze and failed to defend himself or even really attempt to mount an offense. Even if he still has the chin to not be one shot by Wardley, I'm not sure he believes that he does. If Wardley comes at him aggressively chances are he'll freeze and get battered again.
