If Itauma is the real deal, he should beat either of these with ease. They are both at a level that will help Itauma move forward in his career.

    - Franklin's last 3 wins don't look much worse than Gassiev's or Okolie's, to be honest.
    - and Gassiev lost to Wallin, clearly. So if Wallin is **** (and I don't dispute it), then Gassiev is more ****

He wont need to wrestle because he will just put hands on him and knock him out in a few rounds. Okolie has literally nothing for him, including strength. Itauma will just throw him off and blast him out

To be fair, Franklin got comfortably outboxed by Dychko and won one of the most outrageous robberies of this year. It was bafflingly bad, I am not exaggerating when I say that my jaw dropped when they announced the winner.

And then we'll find out if he has any stamina... Or a chin.

    True, but not with Okolie.

They were both successful enough at CW considering both were belt holders. Whereas, Gassiev hasn't translated that to the pros - Okolie unproven.

I mean both aren't great obviously but from a stylistic POV, Okolie is absolutely horrible to fight - its effective enough unfortunately. I really don't think Okolie would lose to Wallin.

However though, if the ref considering Okolie will be on the B side doesn't allow Okolie to do his thing, Itauma will spark Okolie early. Then again, we don't know what this ref will be like hence I'm going off Okolie's past performances rather than being hypothetical.

Point B is a really good point actually.

If Okolie isn't allowed to do his thing then yeah its going to be an early night for him.

Okolie is probably a more lucrative fight in the UK. He does not have a suspect chin and likely hits hard enough to test Itauma's. I think this is a decent fight.

It's more his team talking though isn't it?

At heavyweight Okolie easily has comparable wins. How is CBS worse than Wallin?

When did Wallin challenge for a title?

Okolie is dog **** but I wouldn’t be shocked if he or Chisorsa beat Itauma. Itauma is the most overhyped guy right now. He’s talented and could win those fights but everyone looks unbeatable when they’re getting early KOs. Even Berlanga looked like the next big thing when he was getting first round KOs. I want to see what he looks like dragged into the mud. Someone like Chisora would be a good test even though he’s ancient.

I mean, I have no problems saying that his team is driving this behavior rather than him personally. But the result is the same. HE seems to be avoiding challengers that he/his team asked for in the first place.
