    saw this matchup on youtube

    Does Jerry have a chance?

couldnt put a dent in Frazier

    failed twice against Ali

but, stopped Shavers and beat Ron Lyle. add to that 'he's ten pounds heavier than Rocky

Does Jerry finally win the big one?

    Marciano by tko rounds 8-11.
I see Quarry building an early lead but getting stopped late.
The only way I see Quarry winning is him cutting Rocky, hurting him early and perhaps getting a decision but for me it's low probability.

Marciano would be a big favourite but i wouldn`t write off Jerry

Marciano by late stoppage. BTW,Quarry was no bigger than Walcott, so he's not some towering giant like Lennox Lewis

I think it would look similar to the Frazier fight but I think it would take longer for Marciano to get Quarry under control and take him out. Probably a close fight for five or six rounds but as Quarry begins to gas Marciano would take over and force a stoppage around the the 10th. It has the makings of a great fight though and Quarry could surprise us.

Jerry doesn't have the style or firepower to keep Rocky off. Tko 6 Marciano

Chuvalo stopped Quarry and Frazier brutally beat up Quarry twice.

So I'm going with Marciano by late stoppage.

Might be entertaining. Quarry was a very good fighter but I believe Marciano would win by stoppage at some point

It would be Marciano's best scalp if he wins over prime Quarry. It is very possible that Jerry catches him. He was highly skilled on offense and younger, quicker than those who stung Marciano in his career. A real toss-up in my opinion but I would shade to Quarry.

Quarry would be like a kid in a candy store. Never fought people lighter never fought shorter and never fought shorter reach. Also never fought someone that cut as easy as he did. Rocky’s only chance was he survives early bombardment and Quarry fades in later rounds. Stamina was a weakness for Jerry a strength for Rocky. I think goes 10 rounds and Quarry wins a unanimous decision as his early lead holds up.

Definitely leaning towards Rocky but Quarry's counter punching style took down some other big sluggers in Lyle and Shavers. The difference with Rocky is his relentless aggression and will to win. Quarry is the superior technical fighter but Rocky was able to overcome superior fighters in his era everytime. I think he finds a way to stop Quarry late.

Quarry has become one of the most overrated heavyweights in history. No, he has no shot in Hell against Marciano.
