Belly removed because he's been inactive 12 months? Crawford been inactive 13 months and 12 months numerous times in recent years

AJ 5-1 in his last 6 fights and his 2 losses prior to that were vs the #1 HW/P4P #1. He's a 2 time three-belt unified HW champion with one of the best resumes in the division but he doesn't warrant a place in the top 10 but Moses and Torres do? Disrespectful

Gassiev might have lost to Wallin but he only has 2 Ls and the other one was vs the #1 HW/P4P#1 and his CW resume and accomplishments should carry over

And he just iced Pulev, an old Pulev but I'd take that Pulev over everyone Moses has beaten so far and Torres has only beaten stiffs other than Guido

Yes, and its comical, because there are guys on here who site them as gospel, waxing extemporaneously about how the ratings organization's ratings are meaningless, when, in reality, the Ring seems to have its own agendas.

Yes, Moses and Torres, especially Moses are good prospects but I just cannot see how they are more deserving than AJ who has an excellent resume, as said, is former two-time unified champ, and his losses in recent years are to the king of the division and #3 ranked Dubois who himself has been stopped twice in recent years by Usyk.

    ??????

Itauma is very unproven yes but Torrez ? Who is the last legitimate contender aj beat ? He doesn't deserve a top 10 ranking nowadays. Wallin and shot Helanius are less of a threat than Vianello imo

Richard Torrez in 9th is a horrible ranking. He would not even be in my top 20.

Does Torrez have a win against a top 30? Wow, seriously off with that one.

Otherwise, it is not a bad top 10.

He beat Wallin who beat Gassiev and he is a 2 x unified HW champion whose only losses in recent years are to the P4P king and #1 ranked HW/greatest HW of the era and #3 ranked Dubois who was knocked out x 2 by Usyk in fights which weren't really competitive not beaten on points like AJ was in competitive fights albeit not remotely close in reality

Moses' best win is a shot inactive guy AJ KO'd a prime active version of

Torres has beaten nothing but cans sans Guido

And neither Moses or Torres have ever won a world title, let alone been 2 x three-belt unified champs

It's ridiculous they're ranked in the top 10 and AJ isn't

Vianello is better than anyone Itauma ever beat. Brandon Moore is probably better than anyone Itauma has fought.

Itauma has yet to face a live opponent.

TBF the idea that either Huni or Ajagba belong anywhere near a top ten just shows you how thin the division is right now - that bugs me more than which joke candidate sneaks in.

I don't know what you guys expect. Joshua lost against dubois and had a really off fight against --- Jake Paul ---

Do you want to keep Joshua in there forever because he once was a good fighter who kind of challenged himself?

The comparison with Crawford is only valid in terms of time off - crawford was winning. And still I don't like fighting once a year being tolerated and rewarded by great rankings.

If the ring magazine / sheik has an agenda it would surprise me a lot if it was to hurt joshua who had every benefit they could offer him in the past.

For all we know Joshua could be a total shell of himself and not competitive with anyone in this ranking.

Not saying that that is the case, but taking a really long time off with the potential comeback opponent mentioned and then fighting a mediocre fight against paul certainly does nothing to prove the opposite.

Consequently out of the top ten. It's not a necessary choice, but it can hardly be criticized

I agree. People seem to think a Saudi or Dana takeover would remove any corruption when it just increases its possibility.
The ring are inconsistent with their rankings, and it’s visible even more looking at who the current favourite boxers of the Saudis are and you see the ring and most media outlets are also going way over the top with hype on the same fighters.

While I agree the other two shouldn't be on the list, neither should AJ at this stage. He hasn't won a meaningful fight in years and had a bad performance against Jake Paul.

Joshua got blown out over a year ago.

Hasn't defeated a true top 10 opponent in like 8 years. Why would he be top 10 now again?
