Usyk is the best fighter of this era. He beat the very best fighters in the 2 divisions he campaigned in. Crawford lightweight, super lightweight, super welterweight reign are weak. Solid at welter and he beat Canelo in a close fight. Great fighter but my vote goes to Usyk
People don't like my opinion of Hatton, but he wasn't elite in my book; if he were, he wouldn't have gotten steamrolled by Mayweather and Pac. I loved watching Ricky, and he was clearly world-class for his era. I was gutted when he died. But from a boxing point of view, Mayweather absolutely schooled him, won every round, and then stopped him, and Pacquiao destroyed him in less than five minutes. Kostya was 35, clearly on the slide. Castillo was years past his best, and even Luis Collazo nearly beat him. Junior Witter probably would've beaten him as well. That's why Bricktop avoided that fight for years. Crawford would've beaten Hatton pretty easily, H2H, I think. It would've been a horrible fight for his style. Bud is top 10/15 in 147 history, and Hatton isn't even in the conversation.
No, not for me, it’s Usyk. What usyk has done against guys much more bigger and powerful than him is incredible.
he did have the best win of the year true. Bit in the Last 20-25 years Manny and Floyd pretty much were doing this on the yearly
People are overrating the win over the overrated Canelo. The win cannot compare to Usyk's wins at HW over AJ, Fury and/or Dubois. Inoue also has a clearly better resume than Crawford.
To be fair, Bud has fought nobody even remotely as good as Mayweather or Pacquiao. Bud's toughest assignment was a past prime Canelo.
That’s my point. I believe Hatton had a better resume, more big nights, fought a good version of Floyd AND manny, he is not classed anywhere near what TC is regarded although I believe his resume is better. I think it’s fairly easy and self explanatory if one wants to dissect Crawfords big name wins, I don’t even need to get into it.
