Do people really think AJ can compete with the Fury who showed up against Usyk?

Fury even with lessened punch resistance still has the will of a warrior, the heart of a lion, balls the size of king kong and ....and that's enough for him to always make the distance if needed.

 

As much as I dislike Tyson Fury, I must agree, he does have an amazing heart, big balls, and fierce determination, When he gets knock down, when he gets badly beaten up-as he was in his first fight with Usyk--he never quits. He gets up. He gets himself together--and he keeps fighting. I have been following boxing for over 40 years, and Fury looked completely, and totally, knocked out by Wilder in their first fight. The kind of knockout where most referees won't even bother with a count. But he got up, like a resurrected Frankenstein monster, and actually took the fight to Wilder. And then he fought Wilder again and beat the living h___ out of him. But. . .at the end of the day. . .he still is a guy who you can always count on to pull out of a fight, to lie, to make excuses, and to refuse to acknowledge that he was beaten. .. a sore loser. I admire his guts and his fortitude. I despise his character, and what he has done to the sport of boxing.

 

Suggest you watch Dubois-Joshua.

The Fury of the first fight fought well, but also was very lucky not to be stopped. The Fury of the second fight was very passive and was never really in it IMO. That’s not to say he won’t beat Joshua, they’re both fried mentally, I don’t know which is more fried. Fury shouldn’t be given any more hypothetical wins though.

Fanboy. I don't know what Fury did to yall.

I'm not even a Joshua fan, but he's being written off as if it's a sure thing. Both are washed, but Fury has abused his body more than Joshua has, has taken a lot of damage in the ring and is as mental sound as an Arkham patient.

 

They always give him hypothetical wins. It's bizarre. It's like they see his potential, see how far short he falls of this hypothetical potential, and fold it into reality as if it actually happened and pretend he already has all these wins and accolades, despite him fighting mostly subpar competition and almost always giving a subpar performance.

the mental gymnastics needed to pretend fury would do things hes never been able to do, because to their eye, he LOOKS like he could do them, are hilarious. every time he looks like unwashed ass, which is more often than any other fighter i have ever seen at these levels, "thats not him, he just didnt take the fight seriously".

 

Seen 'em all. Fury won 4 of them and gave Usyk tougher fights than Joshua did.

Perhaps you better watch it again. It's a quick watch. Dubois absolutely obliterated Joshua. Left him in quiverring mess.

 

Do you think Fury really won the Ngannou fight? Apart from what the judges said, did your have him winning in the scorecards? I'm not arguing, just asking your opinion.

 

Fury won it in a close one. It was a terrible performance but he wasn't left in a quivering mess like Joshua was against Dubois.
